Lauren has lived most of her life in South Carolina. The lowcountry is by far her favorite! She graduated from Clemson University with a degree in Education and worked with children with special needs and horses before joining the dental world in 2017. Laurens favorite activities when she is not working are boating with her husband, Jason, playing with her dog, Goose, cat, Crook, horse, Paddy, or kayaking.
Melissa was an air force brat and traveled often but has spent most of her adult life in the beautiful Carolinas. She and her family discovered Ridgeland when her husband accepted a job here in 2016. She has been a dental assistant for over 20 years and truly enjoys patient interactions and care. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, boating, and spending time with her husband Chris, her son Murphy, and her pup Josie.
Born and raised in the heart of the lowcountry, Joanna is a Ridgeland native. Her passion is caring for others! She's new to dentistry but loves it already and jumps in wherever she's needed! Joanna enjoys spending time with her husband, Scott, three stepchildren, and three dogs. Her favorite activities are boating with family and friends and shopping.
Ann and her husband, Ronnie, have 3 children, 4 grandchildren, and 3 fur babies. Her hobbies include reading, hiking, gardening, birdwatching, and spending time with family. She loves to visit the mountains out west and camping! Ann has been in the dental field since 1997 and her patient care is second to none!
Born and raised in East Tennessee, this Tennessee Volunteer has found love in the low country with her dog, Winston. She spent her first years of her career teaching physical education but found that she loves making people feel comfortable in her chair getting the smile they want. Megan loves to meet new people, travel, dance, and explore out in the sun with Winston.
Dr. Gower grew up in Florence, SC and currently lives in Okatie, SC. He completed his undergraduate studies in 2005 at the University of South Carolina in Columbia with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Dr. Gower attended dental school in the Lowcountry, where he received his D.M.D. degree at the Medical University of South Carolina in 2011 and met his beautiful wife, Jessica.
Dr. Gower served in the Navy for 5 years, during which time he completed a one year residency program called an Advanced Education in General Dentistry that focused on oral surgery, implants, root canals, and larger crown and esthetic veneer cases. Dr. Gower was honored to serve the dental needs of the Marines at Camp LeJeune, MCAS Beaufort, and Parris Island.
In 2015, he trained at the comprehensive Maxi Implant Course at Georgia Regents University, gaining invaluable experience in hands-on dental implant surgery. If hes not working, you can find Dr. Gower on the water fueling his healthy passion for offshore fishing or spending time with his beautiful 1 year old daughter, Lula.
Dr. Vanderpool was born and raised in Dayton, Ohio and currently lives in Bluffton, SC. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry at the University of South Carolina and an officer commission from Army Reserve Officer Training Corps in 2015. Upon graduation, Dr. Vanderpool attended the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, where he received his DMD. He has served in the South Carolina Army National Guard as a Dental Corps officer for over 5 years.
Dr. Vanderpool enjoys practicing all aspects of general dentistry and is passionate about personalizing patient care. In his free time, Dr. Vanderpool enjoys playing mediocre golf, walking his golden doodle, fishing, boating, and spending time with his high school sweetheart, Taylor, who is a clinical pharmacist in Savannah, GA.
