Dr. Munir Gomaa is a general dentist who was born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago. He graduated from the University of Chicago in 2013, where he earned a Bachelors degree in Psychology. He then went on to obtain his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Southern Illinois University in 2017. He is an active member of the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, and Chicago Dental Society. Dr. Gomaa practices comprehensive dentistry, and is dedicated to providing patients of all ages with high quality dental care. His priority is to deliver patient-centered treatment with a strong focus on preventative dentistry. He understands that many people experience fear and anxiety towards dental care, and is committed to helping these patients overcome these feelings and receive the care they need to enjoy a healthy lifestyle. He believes in educating patients as an important part of treatment to ensure they understand how to restore and maintain a healthy smile. He is passionate about lifelong learning, and regularly participates in continuing education to stay current on the dynamic field of dentistry. In his free time, he enjoys hiking, drumming, and spending quality time with his family and friends.

After completing his undergraduate training in Kinesiology from the University of Illinois at Chicago, Dr. Senalan continued his professional education and completed his Doctorate in Dental Medicine at Midwestern University. Dr. Senalan is dedicated in furthering his dental education and has completed a certification by Algintech Institute in Invisalign and is Laser Certified by the Academy of Laser Dentistry. He holds professional memberships in the ADA (American Dental Association), CDS (Chicago Dental Society), ISDS (Illinois State Dental Society), and American Dental Education Association (ADEA).

Compassionate care is at the forefront of Dr. Senalans treatment philosophy. He enjoys educating his patients about their dental/general health in order to help them develop sustainable lifestyle habits that will improve their quality of living. Dr. Senalan believes in providing his patients with the highest quality of care while establishing treatment plans in a comprehensive and conservative approach. He is passionate about eliminating dental phobias patients may have while providing care in a comfortable and gentle manner.

Raised as the youngest in a large traditional immigrant family, Dr. Senalan is very family oriented and has been an uncle since he was eight years old. He has five siblings including an identical twin brother and a total of 14 beautiful nieces and nephews. Being an athlete himself, Dr. Senalan enjoys all sports and has played soccer semi-professionally in the Chicago-land area. He also enjoys spending most of his free time traveling the world, teaching Sunday school, and volunteering his time for community service.

Dr. Avani Patel is passionate about forming connections with her patients and helping them develop a great smile and build confidence. Dr. Patel was born and raised in California. She obtained her Bachelors of Dental Surgery (BDS) and began her dream of being able to make a difference by making smiles brighter! She continued on to receive her Doctorate in Dental Medicine fromTufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts in 2014.

With over 7 years of experience in private practice she practices the full scope of General Dentistry with a special interest in the restorative phase of implant and cosmetic dentistry. She is Invisalign Certified, is able to administer cosmetic injectables, and perform oral conscious sedation for patients comfort. Dr. Patel is affiliated with several prestigious dental organizations, The Chicago Dental Society and the American Dental Association. Dr. Patel is also an active member of Spear Education and Cerec Doctors and is a firm believer in continuing education and performing comprehensive treatment using the latest technology.

Dr. Roshan Patel is a general dentist from the west suburbs of Chicago. Dr. Rosh attended the University of Iowa where he graduated in 2017 with a Bachelorss degree in Psychology. He continued his education at Marquette University School of Dentistry where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2021.

In his free time, Dr. Rosh enjoys spending time with friends, family, cooking, watching sports, and hanging out with his dog Clifford! As a Chicagoland native, Dr. Rosh is always up to date on the latest Chicago sports news and is very enthusiastic about the local teams!

Dr. Thomas Yun (Dr. Tom) was born and raised in Seoul, Korea. He and his family emigrated to the United States in the late 90s. He received his bachelors degree in Biology from the University of Arkansas and completed his dental education at the University of Tennessee in Memphis, TN, where he obtained his doctorate degree. Upon graduation, he and his wife moved to the suburbs of Chicago so that his wife could pursue her dream of becoming a medical professional. Dr. Tom enjoys expanding his skill sets by taking various courses and taking on challenging treatments. He is a current member of the American Dental Association and the Chicago Dental Society. In his spare time, he enjoys playing soccer and spending time with his wife.

Dr. John Hur is a board eligible dual-degree trained Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where he graduated with honors, earning his bachelors of arts in Molecular and Cellular Biology. He continued his studies at the University of California, San Francisco School of Dentistry where he graduated among the top of his class. During his time at UCSF, he was involved in nationally recognized projects in the field of craniofacial development. Through these academic pursuits, he developed a profound interest in medicine and surgery. Dr. Hur continued his post-doctoral work in New York, where he received his medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. He then completed a competitive Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at Columbia University Medical Center/New York Presbyterian Hospital, which was ranked as the #1 hospital in the New York Metropolitan area and #6 hospital nationally by the 2014-15 U.S News and World Report. His training involved a fully integrated General Surgery preliminary internship with focused rotations in plastic/reconstructive surgery, trauma, anesthesia and maxillofacial oncologic surgery. He then concluded his training at NYP Hospital where he completed his intensive full scope oral and maxillofacial surgery training with an emphasis on CT guided corrective jaw surgery.

Dr. Hurs current practice reflects a foundation in full-scope training with an emphasis on orthognathic surgery (corrective jaw surgery) and complex dental implant surgery that utilizes CT guided skeletal mapping and surgical protocols. His other services include third molar surgery (wisdom tooth extractions), dentoalveolar surgery, pathology, facial trauma and temporomandibular joint disorders.

Dr. Tania Skylar was raised in Deerfield, Illinois, and attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where she received her Bachelors degree in Biology and Business. She continued on to receive her Doctorate of Dental Medicine at Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine. During her time at Midwestern University, Dr. Skylar served on dental mission trips in Dominican Republic and volunteered at multiple community clinics. She is currently a member of the Chicago Dental Society, American Dental Association, and American Academy of General Dentistry.

Dr. Skylar enjoys going on walks with her family, cycling, and trying new restaurants in Chicago. She also speaks Russian fluently. She is excited to be a part of the practice and provide great dental care to her patients.

Dr. Robert A. Uhland completed his orthodontic research internship program from the Mayo Clinic. He went on to receive his doctor of dental surgery degree from University of Texas Orthodontic training and certification from Loyola University School of Dentistry. Dr. Uhand is one of a select group of orthodontists to become board certified by American Board of Orthodontists.

Dr. Uhland has over 25 years of experience in private practice. Dr. Uhland is a highly capable practitioner who is compassionate when dealing with fears and concerns of their patients. He stands committed to the highest level of oral health as a foundation to create a lifetime of beautiful smiles. Dr. Uhland enjoys spending time with his family and participating in his many memberships when he is not at the office.

His memberships include: American Association of Orthodontists Committee member for Chicago Dental Society,American Dental Association Member, Illinois Dental Certified American Board of Orthodontics Member, American Association of Orthodontists Committee member for Chicago Dental Society, American Dental Association Member Illinois Dental Society, and The Northbrook Civic Foundation and other community organizations member.

Dr. Vu Kong first received a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan State University. Engineerings technical aspects appealed to him and he applies them to his dental practice. He is a graduate of the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry and is a third generation dentist, as his father and grandfather were both dentists. He is a member of the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry.

Dr. Kong has high moral and ethical values and only recommends treatment that is necessary to the health of his patient. Each patient is treated like family and he especially enjoys working with Invisalign and Six Month Smiles cases because of the instant rewards it brings to the patient. Dr. Kong has completed numerous continuing education courses and strives to further his skills and expand his knowledge by attending multiple courses around the country.

Dr. Kong has a beautiful wife and two daughters that he cant keep up with. He takes pleasure in traveling, staying active, and spending time with his family. He has a wonderful sense of humor, and he is fluent in Cantonese (Chinese).

My family and I love High Point Family Dentistry! We wish we had found them years ago! Everyone in the office is so friendly! I found them when I had a dental emergency and they got me in the same day. They have the latest technology and are very thorough and competent. The receptionists are the sweetest! The dental hygienist explained exactly what she was doing and seeing and let me know what I can do on my own to maintain my smile.
