Dr. Sal and assistant were really good except for ONE thing. Following oral surgery, I received "zero" help with pain; none, nada, zilch. They actually, seemed to be proud of the fact they offered Ibuprofen only. I hurt really bad for almost a week. Would not recommend them.

My wife had a surgery scheduled. When I got home from dropping her off she called and told me to come back. When I got there I walked in the room and three people (including the doctor) had my wife cornered and was trying to get her to sign some papers saying she would not have the surgery that day and that she wouldn't have it there but it was still going to cost her 2500$ without knowing anything else. I'm glad I got there when I did. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. They lied to her and tried bulling her into signing something she had no business signing. By far worst experience we've ever encountered when dealing with a business.

Previously we had a bad experience with the finance office and was left paying all costs of a procedure because we were not informed that we were out of network. That was not relayed. Assuming we were in network we paid our bills and thought the debt was paid in full until I received an email stating we were being sent to collections because we still owe some money. I called when I got back into town and was surprised about what happened. I set up a payment plan. After some digging the new finance manager Rita contacted us and re-ran the insurance payment. She went above and beyond to correct a mistake the previous staff made. I am very thankful for her willingness to review the case and make things right. We recommend this practice Ms. Rita is a very courteous and honest lady thank you for all your work!

After contacting another oral surgery place that only had an available appointment for 2 weeks out; I called HPOFS and got a appointment the next day. The staff were friendly and after the initial consultation, my teeth were removed that day. I choose to be put to sleep and do not regret it. My session was less than an hour and Dr. Salgueiro was sincere, direct and professional. I recieved antibiotics and Ibuprofen for pain. The rest of the day and next were very hard pain wise but I made it. If I have to go back in the future, I will but hope not. Overall great experience, I highly recommend. And thank you so much to the main assistant that helped me. I was pretty out of it at the end but she was soooo nice and accommodating throughout.

I was recently faced with what I thought would be a simple root canal, or tooth extraction; Instead I found out I was in for a nightmare of a problem. When I was initially referred to High Plains Oral surgeon I was very nervous but the staff there made me a lot more calm about the whole situation. They took amazing care of me and were very friendly. They gave me a clear treatment plan and really put my nerves at ease. The treatment I recieved from the surgeon, Dr Salgueiro, was also excellent, and was not a stressful situation at all. I felt like I was treated to the best of their ability and would highly recommend anybody in need of Oral surgery to contact this establishment.

Gail was extremely rude and if it wasn't for Rita and other staff we would have chosen a different surgeon. Rita listened to all of the concerns we had for our daughter and Dr. Salgueiro was very professional and explained the procedure thoroughly. We were very pleased with the care they provided and we even received follow up calls to ensure our daughter was recovering well. We would highly recommend this surgeon.
