My name is Justin Higbee and I am the Eugene dentist taking over for Dr. Robinson after his retirement. I have been fortunate to find Dr. Robinson and such a wonderful group of patients to take care of for the years that lie ahead. Dr. Robinson's staff will remain and very little will change as a result of that transition. Taking care of you is my primary concern. It is a responsibility I am thankful for and do not take lightly.

I am from Redmond, Oregon and have been a dentist for over 20 years. I have a wonderful wife, Katie, and three beautiful boys ages 9, 11, and 13. We look forward to raising them while taking care of you and yours. I am excited to meet you and rest assured we will be taking every measure to insure your safety with the covid virus and these troubling times. Hope to see you soon.

I am writing this letter to let you know I have decided after 43 years in Dentistry to retire as of October 5, 2020. I will be in occasionally to finish up any work in progress. I have been contemplating this move for a few years and have finally found someone who I can trust to continue giving appropriate and excellent dentistry to my patients.

Dr. Justin Higbee is a native Oregonian and has moved back after a brief time in Arizona. He and his wife Katie and his three sons are delighted to be here and are looking forward to rejoining the local community.

It has been a challenge to find someone with a similar dental treatment philosophy to mine. I feel that Justin's dental preferences and skills are very similar plus he enjoys doing some of the procedures that I typically refer out. I feel confident that he will continue to provide you and your family the best dental care available.

The hardest part of this transition for me will be the loss of the regular contact I have had with my patients. Thank you for all your loyalty and understanding over the years and during this transition. I have appreciated the opportunity to care for you in the past. Dr. Higbee is looking forward to the same opportunity in the coming years. All my best wishes and THANKS for the great years of friendship and association.

Graduate work brought us to Eugene and the University of Oregon until I moved on to Dental school at Washington University in St. Louis. I earned my Doctor of Medical Dentistry Degree in 1979, then immediately moved back to Eugene. I have since maintained a general practice with an emphasis on restorative, crown and bridge, implant and cosmetic dentistry.

My practice philosophy includes a strong interest in continuing education. I highly believe in continuing education as a way of improving my knowledge and skill. To that end, I will quite often attend classes in Oregon as well as across the US. I love bringing back new ideas and procedures we can implement immediately.

I currently hold a fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry, American College of Dentists and Academy of Dentistry International. My memberships include American Dental Association, Oregon Dental Association, Lane County Dental Society, Academy of Osseointegration and Exploring Excellence Study Club.

Outside the office my greatest interests are my family. My daughter Krista is a 7th grade English teacher in Hillsboro. We enjoy spending time with her family - husband Travis and children Sam and Holly. Son Eric is a Graphic designer working for Snapfish at Hewlett Packard in Corvallis. His three children Baillie, Emma and Elijah visit us in Eugene frequently. Youngest son Evan is an accomplished massage therapist here in town.'

As Dr. Robinson's newest employee, I have been his full time Expanded Functions Dental Assistant/Clinical Manager since 2004. I graduated from Lane Community College in 2002 and received my E.F.D.A, Radiology Proficiency, Sealant and Soft Reline Certifications. The dental field has taught me the importance of patient communication and being dedicated to your utmost comfort. When I'm not working, my husband and I enjoy camping, gardening, and watching our children play sports.

I am pleased to have the opportunity to work with Dr. Robinson. I graduated from Lane Community College in Dental Hygiene in 1982 and have worked for Dr. Robinson since 1990. I have lived and worked in Oregon all my life. I enjoy helping patients improve and maintain their dental health. Outside of work, I like spending time outdoors with family and friends.

I got my first start in the dental field as an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant back in 1986. Ten years later, I graduated from the hygiene program at Lane Community College and have been working as a Registered Dental Hygienist since then. So far, 19 years and counting have been right here with Dr. Robinson.

I'm passionate about what I do and want my patients to feel good about the comprehensive care my team provides. I'm active in area study clubs and enjoy researching the latest trends in my industry. The best part of my job is when my patients leave our office with healthier gums, clean teeth and a bright smile.

Growing up on a farm in Western Idaho, I'm no stranger to the outdoors. In fact, in my spare time, you can find me gardening, skiing, fishing or simply enjoying the Pacific Northwest. I also enjoy baking, and if you ask my kids, I'd bet an apple pie brownie they'd say I was pretty good at it too!

I received my expanded functions dental assisting & radiology certifications from LCC in 2019. Helping patients of all ages & different backgrounds achieve their dental goals is my favorite part of being an assistant! On my days off I enjoy gardening, traveling, playing musical instruments and taking our dogs on adventures with my husband!

I graduated from Lane Community College in 2015 with an associates of applied science degree. I started off as a receptionist in 2016, and progressed into management a few years later. Over the course of my career my passion for dentistry and patient education has continued to grow. Outside of work I love to spend time with my family and dogs. We like to camp, fish, hunt and spend most of our time outdoors!
