OrthodontistDr. Shawn Yu received a Doctoral dental degree from the University of Pennsylvania and afterward completed Orthodontic training from the University of Southern California. He is a certified orthodontic specialist and a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics.
In addition to routine treatment, Dr. Shawn Yu specializes in early phase orthodontic therapy in children through growth modification, in aesthetic orthodontic appliances such as Invisalign, and in a complex adult orthodontic correction in conjunction with jaw surgery. It is our goal to provide our patients with excellent orthodontic results and personalized care.
ProsthodontistDr. Kim received dental degree from UCLA School of Dentistry in 1996. He practiced general dentistry for several years before receiving a 3 year specialty training in Advanced Prosthodontics at UCLA School of Dentistry. He formally held a part-time teaching position in removable prosthodontics department at UCLA.
A homegrown Californian, Dr. Kevin Y. Kim, DDS is excited to bring his years of dental expertise to serving the Norco/Riverside community with exceptional dentistry. Dr. Kevin and the Hidden Valley Dental Group team understand that making dental health a priority can be challenging with today's busy lifestyle. After completing his dental degree at Loma Linda University, one of the nation's leading Christian universities in dental research, Dr. Kevin has made a continual effort to stay abreast with dental technologies, extensive continuing education, and has trained with the leading specialists in conservative, comprehensive, and cosmetic dentistry.
Dr. Kevin also strongly believes in giving back to the local community and has served abroad internationally. Some of his global voluntary work has included dental mission service trips in administering relief to hurricane refugee camps in Managua, Nicaragua, performing fillings & extractions to locals in the mountainous region of Guadalupe Victoria, Mexico and developing a dental outreach program in the Kiribati Islands.
When he's not busy working, Dr. Kevin participates in dental conferences, and researching the latest advancements in dentistry. During his leisure time, he enjoys working out, traveling, and spending time with his wife Grace and his two children.

I have been coming to this office for about 10 months now after having a cracked tooth end of last year during holidays. They were kind enough to squeeze me in and take care of me. Dr.Kim is amazing, he is gentle and makes conversations which helps with my anxiety. We are now coming here as a family of 4 and love it !

By far the best dentist I've ever been to. They are 100% honest about the services you need and don't oversell you at all. The whole staff is super friendly especially the dr and practice manager. They saved me from having to spend $3600 on treatment I didn't need that another dental office quoted me. I finally found a dental office that makes me want to come back and make sure my teeth/gums are healthy and ways to improve it. Definitely recommend this office!!

A cracked tooth brought me into this dentist office after more than 5 years of not going to the dentist. I was nervous and going to Hidden Valley Dental Group has consistently changed my point of view on "going to the dentist." The ladies up front are so friendly and patient, and I always end up feeling like I learn how to better take care of my teeth every time I come. I highly recommend coming here. The dentist was very kind and the dental hygienist Angela was wonderful!

I called for an emergency appointment and they scheduled me the same day. The office is clean and pleasant. The dentist was very nice with excellent listening and communication. He explained my problem and the next steps. He also asked if I had any further questions. Overall, it was an excellent appointment and service from the front desk to the x-ray girl to the dentist.

Can't say enough good things about the hidden valley dental group. Any medical facility can learn a few things from these guys, especially in hospitality and knowledge of the craft. Not only were everyone extremely friendly, but every question I had was answered above and beyond my expectations. I actually left my appointment even more motivated about getting my dental health under control (it's been 7 years since my last dentist visit). Ask about the Biolase laser, it's the best way to handle small cavities because no anesthesia and no drilling!! I lucked out picking this place to care for my teeth and gums!

Love this dental group-- every staff member is pleasant and feels like they love their job. They all are knowledgeable and explain every step of the process. Absolutely love how gentle the main doctor is, as well as the assistants. The front office staff is amazing too! Great place all around!
