She spent three years at Muhlenberg College in Allentown, Pennsylvania, followed by four years at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental medicine. She graduated with a B.S in Biology from Muhlenberg and a D.M.D from the University of Pennsylvania.
Additionally, Dr. Parikh was an orthodontic faculty member at New York University College of Dentistry. She taught diagnosis and treatment planning, growth and development, adult orthodontic treatment and clinical efficiency.
Gone are the days of painful headgear, clunky bands on every tooth, and overly tight stainless steel wires. Today's orthodontic treatment is much more comfortable than it used to be. This is because of shape-memory NiTi wires.
With the same technology that NASA uses, NiTi wires put continuous force on your teeth to move them in the right direction. This gets rid of the need for wire tightening. This means you spend less time in braces, and the time you do spend is more comfortable.

Dr. Parikh is the best!! I am so happy with the result of my smile from lingual braces. I would recommend Hidden Smiles to everyone! Dr. Parikh and her staff, especially Lisa at the front desk are super friendly and accommodating.

I have been meaning to go to an orthodontist for a long time to see about getting my teeth straightened out but kept putting it off because I felt it was going to be a long complicated process, plus my overall fear of going to the dentist didn't help any. When I went to Hidden Smiles, I was surprised how nice everyone was, how they explained all the options that were available to me and put me completely at ease. I am now two months in and my only regret was not doing this sooner. Now I almost look forward to going to the dentist. Thanks to everyone at Hidden Smiles.

I had such a great experience here. Throughout my 5 years of wearing braces - Dr. Parikh was so attentive and always made me feel comfortable. They have the latest technology and the office is so trendy. I now recommend this place to all of my friends. It's definitely worth the trip.

I waited for what seems like an eternity to get my teeth straighten. Lol. We had a few bumps on this journey but it was all worth it. For sure. Dr. P and her team are a pleasure to work with. Usually dental work gives me anxiety but the staff at Hidden Smiles are so skilled that I had very little anxiety during my visits. I am so happy with my results.
