Dr. Charles Hicks is a graduate of the University of Florida College of Dentistry. He has taken extensive continuing education courses in endodontic (root canal) therapy and a rigorous 10-day period at the Medical College of Georgia in implant dentistry. The goal of continuing education is to provide patients with the most advanced dentistry available to date. Dr. Hicks provides gentle, compassionate dental services to patients throughout Palatka. Dr. Shannon Hicks is also a graduate of the University of Florida College of Dentistry. In 1994, she and Dr. Charles Hicks opened Hicks Dental and have been providing exceptional dental care ever since. For over 25 years, she has focused on preventative patient care. She prides herself on creating comprehensive treatment plans to achieve optimal oral health in her patients. Dr. John Brandon Draper was raised in Jacksonville, Florida. His father was a dentist in the Arlington area of Jacksonville for over 30 years. Growing up around a dental office significantly influenced the career path Dr. Draper ultimately chose to follow. After graduating from Duncan U. Fletcher High School, Dr. Draper studied biological science at Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida.
After graduating from FSU, Dr. Draper spent a couple of years pursuing a degree in molecular biology. Still, he ultimately learned that sitting in a lab all day was not for him and decided to apply to dental school. He was accepted to the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicines (LECOM) School of Dental
