This was my first time here. The staff is professional, competent and, organized from check in to the completion of my visit. A very pleasant experience all around.

Do not go here! The original two dentists that are shown on the website have left. The didn't notify patients. They had what seemed like a few different substitutes coming in the last two months. Appointments kept being made and rescheduled. Our insurance hasn't been billed correctly a few times. Then I had fillings done two weeks ago and once again by a dentist I had never met but trusted her as I was already there and not going to cancel the appointment after already sitting in the chair and waiting to get these done since July. It was the most painful 3 novicaine shots I ever received and I have had many in my life. Then We get an insurance notice that this office or dentist isn't in network( this office was in network when we moved here last October) and we owe the full amount. I think not! You can't surprise patients at the same office with a new dentist and not tell them the dentist isn't in network. Either that or they didn't bill insurance correctly again. The new dentist they hired I guess is the one who did my fillings, but gave birth just a few days after my procedure and is now gone until January or February! So once again, no dentist here. I can see this placing closing within a matter of days or weeks as everyone bails on the sinking ship. I wish I would have known all this before letting them do my fillings. I had no clue the two dentists had left permanently until I put all the clues together myself over the last two weeks and started asking more questions.

This practice states that why are in network with Cigna. They continuously bill Cigna out of network and ask me for ridiculous amounts of money. Cigna has reached out and asked for claims to be resubmitted and nothing is resent in by this practice. I call them constantly and ask for someone to call me back nothing. I show up in person and supposedly that person is never there. I recently took my son in for what I KNEW was an out of pocket cleaning due to getting his braces off and it being well before his routine cleaning. I paid for this in full and they turned around and billed my insurance. I have submitted all of this proof to Cigna who claims insurance fraud.

Super smooth experience from check in to check out. I had the pleasure of having my fillings done at this incredibly operated dental office. I had a super short wait time, everyone's very friendly, very accommodating, I truly had zero discomfort! The dentist was very transparent when reviewing my treatment plan and even advised I only needed one of the two fillings - which was awesome! Over all great experience!!

I'm not sure what happened to this practice, but almost all of their DR's quit and they have new ones. I made an appointment 2 months ago and had to wait for them to rebuild their team of doctors. Now today they called me today to cancel because the Dentist called out sick the day after Labor Day

I've always had good experiences at dental offices, but this one was leaps and bounds above those. Incredibly staff, unheard of accommodations, top of the line technology and procedures, and (maybe most importantly) the doctor, hygienist and cashier all gave thorough explanations of what was done, what they were doing, and what should be done AND how much each and every little thing would cost. I recommend this practice and Dr. Shima to anyone and everyone.

We have been going to this dental office for 2 years now and love Dr Niekamp! But there have been changes to the staff and the office doesn't feel the same as it did. I understand changes in staff happen, but the atmosphere of welcoming and issues scheduling have me writing this review.

Surprise billings by mail, stating payment overdue even though we never received any bill in the first place. They sent me $127 bill to pay for a cleaning I had done even though cleaning is fully covered by insurance , but they added xray charges to it. New patients xrays are $30 and that is what they tell you, but they will still bill you for $100+ instead. Stay away from them, bunch of crooks

Wow this dentistry is absolutely amazing!! I was afraid after a bad experience at another local dentist that I would have to drive to Johns creek to my old dentist but I was so wrong. This place is an absolute gem and I loved everyone I interacted with. Such a pleasant experience. Thank you so much!!

Definitely worst dental practice we ever visited as a family. Always surprises, they cancel your appointment for no reason, just because you don't confirm it. Never received email to actually confirm it. You show up on time only to find out they cancelled it for you and you wasted your day, time off work etc. Surprise charges on next visits, balance due, even though they make you pay after each visit for treatment you received. New patients bite x-rays $30, however they tried charging me today $104 for it even though a Month before I paid $30 for my daughter's new patient x-rays. They also charge you another separate fee for full set of x-rays which I have available from previous dentist, but they failed to let me know that if I emailed it to them, I wouldn't need to pay. Now they are coming up with BP checks which I didn't know about and when I came to my appointment for cleaning I ended up being sent home, because my bp was over the limit. Of course it was, I got angry with them trying to rip me off on x-rays cost as soon as I walked in and then I found out they do BP checks. I just had a strong coffee before coming for cleaning appointment and if I knew that BP was going to be taken I wouldn't have drunk coffee literally minutes before the appointment. I have never had BP checked at the dentist and all my friends and family were shocked as they do it here at the dentist. It must be something they do in GA, I don't know. I will never visit these crooks again and I have already arranged for a new dentist through recommendations from my neighbors. I was trying to have one closer to me, but I am willing to travel further and receive a better care. I did not come for medical, fitness test or a major surgery. I came to get my teeth cleaned! Can't believe I wasted 6 Months waiting for this appointment only to be sent away! It left a bad taste in my mouth, but everything happens for a reason. God I miss my previous dentist, they were amazing!

I went in for a dental cleaning and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. Amanda was awesome and did an amazing job. Michelle was very knowledgeable and gave me great tips for improving my dental health. Dr. Shahrokhi was also great and very helpful. I don't typically enjoy going to the dentist, but overall it was a very pleasant experience. Would definitely recommend!

I broke a tooth, called Hickory Common Dental. They are AWESOME got me in in 30 minutes and the tooth was gone in no time. The dentist, her assistant were absolutely amazing. I will be going back for sure. In fact everyone in the office was great.

By far the best dental care I have received. Cleanings are fast, PAINLESS and, believe it or not, enjoyable. The staff is always friendly and very knowledgeable. Oh, and did I mention the pricing is fantastic? If you're looking for a dental office that will never make you feel uncomfortable about your dental work, you can stop looking. This is it.
