Dr. Morin is a graduate of the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry. Dr. Morin has received certification by the International Society of Computerized Dentistry. Dr. Morin is considered to be the nations foremost expert in CAD/CAM technology in the U.S. where he became the 1st dentist in the U.S. to introduce this technology in his practice. In 1998, Dr. Morin began teaching dentists worldwide about CAD/CAM technology and even today is stilling teaching dentists CAD/CAM. Dr. Morin is considered to be the nations foremost expert on this technology and is is also, featured in Dentistry Today as one of the top dental educators in the country!

A Panorex x-ray dental machine can identify issues and structures that a normal x-ray cant. It has the ability to view the full structure of your head, which is very informative to our team. We can see any potential problems and address any concerns before they become more extensive problems.
This pen-sized camera can view different angles in your mouth. The intraoral camera is able to see things that we cant see with the naked eye or an x-ray. We are able to view your entire mouth on a monitor. Everything is magnified which gives us a closer look at any potential issues or problems that may arise.
We understand that your time is limited, so we aim to provide you with the most complete and comprehensive information about your dental care in the most convenient ways. Our intraoral camera makes your visits faster and allows you to visually see the inside of your mouth in vivid detail.
We use Oral ID to help detect oral cancer more accurately. Oral ID is a noninvasive technology that utilizes a blue light that allows our team to identify oral cancer, pre-cancer and other abnormal lesions at an earlier stage. This device shines a light on abnormalities below the surface of the skin well before they can be seen or felt. Our revolutionary cancer screening process takes as little as 2 to 5 minutes.
Our practice is environmentally friendly. We have created a paperless office in order to eliminate paper waste. We utilize CD-ROMs that explain treatments in easy-to-follow detail, chairside computers that quickly and accurately store and retrieve your records, and online insurance filing, which we can do on your behalf to ensure your experience is as convenient as possible.

I have been to a handful of dental offices in my life and this office by far was the best one. They exceeded my expectations from the moment I walked in the door. The check in process was prompt with very friendly service. I was seen by a hygienist immediately and waited a very short time for the dentist. Once seen, I was handled in a professional manner and was explained thoroughly on my dental issue. I could not have been happier. I referred a family member who needed extensive work and he shared the exact same wonderful service that I was given. I would 100% recommend for your easiest to your most challenging dental needs!

I have been there and have had great and professional service but most of all Dr Morin did a fabulous job with replacing my father in laws teeth. He also saved him from disaster with his previous dentist, I am greatful!

I just finished my cleaning procedure at Hi-Tech Family Dentistry and I couldn't be more happy with the service provided. Starting from the receptionist who was very helpful and welcoming, the dentist assistant and of course the the dentist Mrs Shanna Mcgettrick. She was very knowledgeable, gentle, and a very good listener, following every single step of biosecurity make sure my experience was the best. The clinic is spotless so is my smile right know. I've been looking for a great dentist since I move to Detroit and I'm beyond happy I've found them. Highly recommend them!!!!

Absolute top of the line dentistry. Newest technology and dentists at the forefront of their profession. Dr Motrin and Dr McGettrick are incredible. First time there they did things in their exam that I've never had done. It's nice to see Drs staying up to date with the times as they change. The office and dental staff are exceptional. Always nice to see their smiling faces ready to give you the greatest care! Highly recommend!

I was going here for about three years while I lived in Ferndale. Last time I went back in February of 2021, the doctor said I had about four cavities and needed two of my old fillings replaced. They told me this without doing any x rays, said that it was based on my last visit. I was confused but scheduled an appointment nonetheless. I ended up having to put the appointment off for financial reasons (was going to cost me about $500 out of pocket). Fast forward a few months later, I've moved to the east side and had my first cleaning with a new dentist in Grosse Pointe park assuming I would need work done. After my cleaning my dentist was baffled: "Your teeth look fine, I don't see any problem areas and your fillings are holding up great. It's a good thing you got a second opinion!" My advice to anyone whose been diagnosed with anything at High-Tech Family Dentistry: GET A SECOND OPINION BEFORE YOU SPEND HUNDREDS/THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS.

I've been a patient here for over 30 years. Moved, and tried to see a Dentist closer to home. No one is as through as HI-Tech Denistry. Now, I'm back, and so pleased with their work. You will be happy here. No complaints from me.

Devastated to share as I've been going to Hi Tech Family Dentistry for a near 27 years, but I don't think I'll be back. My most recent 3 visits have been seriously disappointing. The hygienist on June 9th didn't really talk to me at all during my visit, hurt me a few times while cleaning my teeth and was pretty aggressive with her touch, and I just didn't feel cared for. I mean, don't talk my ear off, but also don't shuffle me along after only cleaning my teeth for 20 minutes. The staff, for many years, was such high caliber of dental talent, but not so much anymore. Ever since Laura (office manager) retired, it's gone downhill. I would not recommend them.

I highly recommend Hi-Tech Family Dentistry for all of your dental needs. I have been going to their Southfield location for quite some time and I love everybody in the building. Each visit is always so welcoming and professional. I always walk in here with a smile on my face because I know that I am with the best. Any problems, issues or concerns that I have are always promptly handled. Hi-Tech Family Dentistry always makes me feel heard and seen with all of my questions. They do not dismiss your worries and they truly care. I am proud to say that I have a dentist for a lifetime!

My visit at Hi-Tech was pleasant. I enjoyed talking with the dental hygienist. He answered all of my questions, and was helpful in explaining how my many cups of coffee can affect my enamel.
