Dr. Dannelly was born and raised in a small town in South Carolina and attended Clemson University, where he graduated with Honors with a Bachelors of Science degree in Microbiology. He then enrolled in the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC), where he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD). Dr. Dannelly received the Dentsply Award for Crown and Bridge and Graduated with Honors from MUSC. After receiving his Degree in Dental Medicine, Dr. Dannelly spent two years in a Family Practice Residency at MUSC, where he received advanced training in Oral Surgery, Periodontal Surgery, Endodontics, Pediatric Dentistry and Family Practice. Upon Completion of his Residency, Dr. Dannelly moved to Easley with his wife Kathy, and started his Family Dental Practice in 1981.

Dr. Dannelly is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the South Carolina Dental Association (SCDA), the Piedmont District Dental Society, and the Tri- County Dental Society. He regularly attends local, state and national dental meetings for Continuing Education courses. He has a particular interest in the new technology available to Dentistry. Dr. Dannelly was one of the first to bring the CEREC One Visit Crown Technology to the upstate area and continues with this ever-changing technology.

Dr. Dannelly is married to his lovely wife Kathy of 32 years, and they have four children and a yorkie, Rocky. When not in the office he likes spending time with family and friends. You may find him on the lake, golf course, riding his motorcycle, or just doing yard work.

Kathy grew up in Aiken, and attended Lander College, where she played on the Tennis Team. She then attended the Medical University of South Carolina and graduated with a degree in Medical Record Administration. After moving to Easley, Kathy worked for the Greenville Hospital Systems Cancer Registry until she became a fulltime Mom to their four children. Kathy is the inspiration behind all the exquisite decorations at Hi-Tech Family Dentistry, adding the unique dcor for every season. She also attends the State and National Dental Meetings and is an integral part of the planning and overall direction for Hi-Tech Family Dentistry. Kathy enjoys decorating, exercise, bible study, and being with family and friends, especially her four grandchildren.

Dr. Heather Heaton Barker grew up in Greenville, SC. She attended Wofford College and graduated in 1996 with a degree in Biology. She received her Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD) at the Medical University of South Carolina. She joined Dr. Dannelly as an associate in his practice in 2003.

Dr. Barker is an active member of the South Carolina Dental Association (SCDA). She is past chairman of the Annual Convention Committee, the New Dentist Committee, and the Strategic Planning Committee. She was awarded the New Dentist Award by the SCDA in 2010. She is also a fellow of the Pierre Fauchard Academy and the American College of Dentistry, both of which recognize dentists for their professionalism, integrity, and ethics. Additionally, she is a member of the American Dental Association, the Piedmont Dental District Society, and numerous other professional associations, in which she has participated as both a leader and a member. As well as being involved in organized dentistry, Dr. Barker participates in a variety of continuing education courses each year to stay updated on the rapidly changing realm of dentistry.

She is married to Brian Barker, who is the Director of Asset Management at South State Bank. They have a son, Royce, who keeps them very busy. They are members of Fourth Presbyterian Church in Greenville. Additionally, Heather currently serves on the boards for both Christ Church Episcopal Preschool and Euphoria. When time allows, she enjoys cooking, reading, and scrapbooking.

Melissa is a Certified Dental Assistant who brings 32 years experience to the Hi-Tech Family Dentistry team, of which her first 20 years was in the position of chair side assisting with Dr. Dannelly. She now assists Dr. Dannelly and his patients in a more administrative and financial manner, which includes the coordination of patient insurance benefits and financing options. Proving herself to be very capable, Melissa was most recently promoted to the position of Office Manager. Although not functioning in direct patient care, Melissa continues to promote quality health care by maintaining her CPR certification, and extending a warm friendly greeting to all our patients helping them feel comfortable. Melissas knowledge of all aspects of the dental office, and the community of Easley, has made her a valuable member of the Hi-Tech Family Dentistry team. Melissa resides in Easley and when not in the office enjoys spending time with her family and working in the yard.

Keri is a Certified Dental Assistant who brings 18 years of experience to the Hi-Tech Family Dentistry Team. She graduated from Greenville Technical College Dental Assisting Program in 2000 and also maintains her X-ray and CPR certifications. Keri is a friendly and outgoing individual who makes each patient feel cared for. Keri resides in Easley with one child and when not in the office she enjoys her time with family, participating in outdoor activities and time at the beach.

Janet is a Registered Dental Hygienist who brings 18 years experience to Hi-Tech Family Dentistry Team. Janet is unique in that she has worked for Dr. Dannelly as both a Certified Dental Assistant and Dental Hygienist. Janet graduated from Tri-County Technical College with a degree in Dental Assisting in 1994. After working for Dr. Dannelly as a Dental Assistant she returned to school for Dental Hygiene. In 2007, Janet graduated with Honors with a Dental Hygiene Associates Degree. Janet is licensed in Local Infiltration Anesthesia, and has her CPR and Nitrous Oxide Certification. Janet is the head Hygienist for Hi-Tech Family Dentistry and brings a smile to every patient she treats. Janet resides in Pickens, with her husband and two children. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, camping and hunting.

Chelsea is a Registered Dental Hygienist who holds a degree in Dental Hygiene from Greenville Technical College. She is certified to monitor nitrous oxide, administer local anesthesia, and perform CPR. Chelsea regularly participates in continuing dental education classes. Her professional affiliations include the American Dental Hygienists Association and the Upstate Winds Executive Board. In addition to her professional duties as a member of the Hi-tech Family Dentistry team, she is also a performing musician in several area groups. When not treating her patients, Chelsea can be found traveling, spending time with family, and spoiling her dog, Salem.

Teresa graduated from Greenville Technical College in 1977 with an Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene. She is a Board Certified Dental Hygienist who brings 35 years of experience to Hi-Tech Family Dentistry Team, with 18 of those years as a Hygienist for Dr. Dannelly. Teresa is a caring and thoughtful individual who gives her best to each and every patient. Teresa is also certified in CPR and her hygiene skills and dedication has made her a valuable team member. Teresa resides in Easley and has two children and two grandchildren. In her spare time Teresa enjoys cooking, singing, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Julia is a Registered Dental Hygienist who brings 5 years of experience to the Hi-Tech Family Dentistry Team. She attended Greenville Technical College and graduated with an associate degree in Dental Hygiene. She is also certified in nitrous oxide monitoring, infiltration anesthesia and CPR. Julia is a caring individual who is dedicated to delivering the best possible treatment for each patient while maintaining a comfortable atmosphere. In her free time Julia enjoys traveling and going to the lake. In the Fall she enjoys watching football with her family and cheering on the Carolina Gamecocks!

Kristi is a Certified Dental Assistant who brings 15 years of chair side assisting experience to the Hi-Tech Family Dentistry Team, of which the last 4 years has been in our office. Kristi graduated from Greenville Technical College Dental Assisting Program in 1998, and also maintains her Nitrous Oxide and CPR Certifications. Kristi is a friendly and outgoing young professional who brings special care to our patients. Kristi resides in Easley, and is married with one child. Kristi enjoys singing in her church choir, part time catering, and spending time with her family when not in the office.

April is a certified Dental Assistant bringing 15 years experience to the Hi-Tech Family Dentistry Team. April graduated from Tri-County Technical College Dental Assisting Program in 1995 and continues to uphold her Nitrous Oxide and CPR Certifications. April is a personable and caring individual who makes each patient feel welcome. April resides in Pickens with her two children. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family, friends and being outdoors.
