Dr. Hancock is so good at his job! No one wants a root canal, but he is calm, quiet, efficient, and as quick as possible. Any pain is from holding one's mouth open for an extended period of time, certainly not the procedure itself.

Able to be seen quickly and my appointment was good. Doc explained my options and didn't pressure me to do what he wanted. Staff was friendly and explained costs prior to appointment so I wouldn't be surprised.

I had a positive beginning to end experience with Dr. Hancock's office and team. He is very thorough in explaining treatment options, thoughtful and patient (for the person that needs all the details). My husband has also had work done here and had immediate relief after a root canal treatment and for someone that doesn't like the dental chair, he was very pleased.

This was my first root canal and understandably, I was pretty nervous about the procedure. However, Dr. Hancock and his staff were excellent. They made me super comfortable, they are very knowledgeable, thorough, and the procedure itself was relatively painless. I even fell asleep for a portion of it. I can't wait for my next root canal!

No one wants to get a root canal of course, but the staff and doctor made it as comfortable as possible. Everyone is friendly and the doctor is gentle.

Root canal went well! Dr. Hancock's calm manner and brief but thoughtful explanations of what to expect at each stage of the process caused this to be far better experience than what I anticipated. I was never in any pain, and almost dozed off at one point - maybe because all my anxiety about the process had evaporated. Also greatly appreciated was the expediency of appointment to relieve my pain.

I want to provide an excellent review for my root canal. I was on a work trip in Raleigh for the week (I'm from Philadelphia) and had to have a molar root canal performed.... I found out 2 days prior to my trip from an emergency dentist appointment in NJ. I called 10 different offices in the area with no same-week availability and then found Dr. Hancock who was able to take me for a consultation on Tuesday and perform the root canal on Thursday. I've never had this procedure performed before so I was concerned initially about the pain during the procedure. Rest assured there was no pain during the entire procedure and I was sufficiently numbed with local anesthetic . I was able to listen to music and the doctor performed the work is a little under 2 hours. They also provide movies to watch if you're interested in that. The whole experience felt patient focused and did not feel pushy through any of the process. The technology this doctor uses is pretty advance from what I read and asked post-op. I am hopeful that I never need a root canal again, but for anyone that does, I would highly recommend Dr. Hancock first. Could not be more thankful that the pain is Gone. Thanks!

Generally, I'm not a big fan of going to the dentist, but Doctor Hancock is an exception. Yesterday, I had my third root canal with him, the other two about six years ago, Normally when I go to the dentist, I break out in a sweat in fear of what is next. Not with Doctor Hancock. He explains exactly what is happening next and what to expect. I had on my noise cancelling headphones which helped me relax. I could have gone to sleep it was such a non-event. With over 20 years of experience, Doctor Hancock is at the top of his game. And not only is Doctor Hancock professional and courteous, but his entire team is also top notch. I wouldn't consider going anywhere else. Good job!
