Dr. Heywood went on to complete the highly regarded University of Florida Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) program in Seminole, FL. This residency provided additional training and significant hands-on experience in all aspects of dentistry, including: implants, wisdom teeth extractions, root canals, bone-grafts, crowns, bridges, dentures, and bite adjustments. This program is affiliated with the world-renown Dawson Academy and Implant Educators which is one of the nations best implant continuing education courses. He is a current member of both the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry.
Melea is our Office Manager. Melea has been in the dental field for over 17 years. She started out as a dental assistant with the intention of going to nursing school. When she realized how much she loved caring for dental patients, she decided to stay in dentistry full time after college, instead of pursuing a nursing career. In her free time, she enjoys watching ALL sports, especially college football! She loves spending time with her family. She also rides horses and is a barrel racer in professional rodeo.
Jessica has been a practicing hygienist since 2006 and loves what she does. She especially loves interacting and connecting with her patients. She lives in south Utah county with her husband Andrew and their 2 children. She loves spending time with her family, especially going on day trips around our beautiful state. She also enjoys Project Life photo books, board games, and football.
