Dr. Desio failed me. I recommend to stay very far away from this office. I came in for a few fillings, onlays, and crowns. A few months later I went to a new dentist who said the teeth Dr. Desio worked on still need further work, we're not done properly, and have decreased in health. Those types of procedures should last a few years and mine didn't even last a few months. Desio even admitted he didn't fix the teeth properly but refused to offer me a refund. Given Dr. Desio's years of experience I thought I was in good hands but he obviously is declining in skills as he ages. I am now thousands of dollars out as I have to re-pay for these teeth. This is an awful dentist office and they do not care about your teeth!

Nidia was my hygienist at my routine cleaning. She was attentive, thorough, and kind. She cleaned my teeth with a new high powered apparatus that was painfree & required minimal scraping afterward. So glad the office upgraded to that device!

I've used this dental practice for decades and love it! The hygienists and dentists provide excellent care and are warm, kind people. The new water-based cleaning means no more scraping! My teeth felt so clean.

Just want to let other patients know that the cleaning I received from Nidia Gonzalez yesterday was about the most comfortable I have ever had. She used a Waterpic-like device instead of scraping--and she adjusted the water temperature to warmer for my sensitive teeth. I would suggest asking for it the next time you come for a cleaning. Another great experience at the dentist, which isn't a phrase said often. I had Nidia, who is new to the practice but absolutely wonderful. She used a newer technology for cleaning and a stain to show me where I'm missing tartar in home care. Gentle, painless, effective. She has great bedside manner and communicates very well, including providing additional home care suggestions. Dr. Desio is always consistent and spends time to make sure my teeth are good and ensure there are no dental concerns. Good job as usual!

Dr. Desio is one of most competent and compassionate dentists I have ever known. My father was a great dentist, so I feel qualified to make that assessment. I also want to acknowledge Dental Hygenist Nidia Gonzalez. She is excellent-- a true artist. This was the best cleaning I've had, and I've had the great fortune of many expert cleanings, especially in this practice.

Have been going here for over a decade and love the practice. Just had my first appointment with the new Hygienist, Nidia. She was excellent at communicating what she was doing and why. Nidia also was happy to answer my questions. It was a great visit.

I have been a patient at the Falls Church office for two decades. Dr. Desio is everything I want in a dentist - serious, skilled & easy to talk to; hygienist Nidia Gonzalez is gentle, efficient & knowledgeable - highly recommended. Thumbs-up for the front-desk staff as well.

I returned to the dentist after some time away due to the pandemic. Nidia Gonzalez (my new hygienist) was incredible at talking me through the new innovative cleaning process and added preventative care measures. Highly recommend Nidia and Dental Associates

Dr. Desio and his wonderful staff have been so helpful and caring. They are really kind and understanding when it comes to handling patients who are fearful of sitting in the dental chair. They make sure to make it pain free and anxiety free as possible. They listen to you and explain what they're doing. My teeth have never been so well cared for! I can only recommend them and do! Thank you Dr. Desio and Staff!

I first came to Dr. Desio after a bad experience. Dr. Desio was kind, reassuring, and did great work and has a great team! Now, I've been coming here for about 20 years and have been through root canals, Invisalign, AND Perio Protect. Today I got to meet a great new team member, Nidia, and got to experience their new cleaning system, which was the most pleasant and pain-free experience I've had yet. I cannot recommend Dr. Desio and his team highly enough.

Dr. Desio and his team are terrific: thorough, professional, and caring. We always feel we get good care at our appointments. Today's appointment was with Nidia, dental hygienist, who is a recent addition to the practice. She gave detailed information on what she was doing and used the Airflow treatment system which is quicker and more efficient than the methods of old. There is less vibration, and it uses warm water which makes for a more pleasant experience. She checked to make sure I was comfortable throughout the procedure. Another positive experience at this practice! Thank you, Dr. Desio, Nidia, and Team!
