Phyllis has been in the dental field for since 1985; she has served as our Office Manager since 1997. Phyllis enjoys the variety that the front office offers, and loves making each patient feel that they are the most important person she has seen that day. Phyllis and her husband, Bill, moved to Palestinein 1983.Bill and Phyllis have been married for 48 years and have three children; Shari, Chris, and Jeff. They have been blessed with eight beautiful grandchildren ages6 - 16 years. Spending time with family and close friends, cooking, collecting cookbooks, going to garage sales, and shopping for the grandchildren are Phyllis' favorite things to do.

Leah has been in with our office since September of 2009. She currently holds her RDA, and is working as hygiene coordinator. Currently she has an Associate's Degree in Business, and will graduate with her B.A.A.S in 2018. She has been married to her husband Jeffrey for 7 years, and they have one son together. She enjoys spending time with her family, and shopping.

Rhonda has been in dental assisting since 1979. She has been with Dr. Jay since 1998. She received her Associates in Applied Arts in 2009. Rhonda enjoys keeping up with the latest dental continuing education. She also loves to travel and karaoke, and has two grandsons that keep her very busy.

With 23 years in the dental field, Renee joined our practice in 2017. She is currently working as Dr Hernandez 's assistant. Her years of experience as a RDA alsolends knowledge to assist in many areas as an office. Her 'off' time consists of leading group fitness classes at the YMCA and Anytime Fitness. She enjoys life with family and friends.

Katy started working as a dental assistant in our office in 2010. She graduated from Tyler Junior College with her Dental Hygiene degree and went onto receiveher Bachelors' through Texas Women's University. She has been working as a hygienist in our office forover four years now.She enjoys sharing and inspiring patients to improve their oral health. She strives to make their dental visit a comforting experience. In her spare time Katy loves spending time with her family. Katy and her husband Kyle have a sweet baby girl named Kenly.She alsoenjoys being outdoors and is a avid hunter.

Staci graduated from Tyler Junior College in 2008 with an Associates of Science degree in Dental Hygiene and her Bachelors' through Texas Women's University in 2016. She has been with our office since 2005, starting out as a Registered Dental Assistant and then returning to school to get her Hygiene license. Staci enjoys developing relationships with each and every patient and helping them achieve a healthy smile. Staci and her husband, Adam live in Elkhart. When not cleaning teeth, she enjoys barrel racing, her many pets, going out to eat, and spending time with her family and friends.

I was born and raised in Palestine, Texas; the second of four sons born to Jack and Louise. Three of us became dentists and the fourth, an attorney. I married Jean Campbell Davenport in 1987 and have two sons; Steve, 21 years old, is a senior at the University of Mississippi. Edward, age 19, is a sophomore and also attends 'Ole Miss'.

I graduated from Texas A&M in 1976 with a BS in Zoology and from Baylor College of Dentistry in 1978 with a D.D.S. I worked as an Instructor in the Fixed Prosthodontics Department at Baylor from 1978-1980, while also working part-time in a General Dentist office in Rockwall.

I moved back to Palestine in 1980 and opened an Adult General Dentistry practice. In 1986 I became interested in implant dentistry; first doing the prosthesis over the implants and later surgically placing the implants themselves.

My goal has been to always stay informed of the newest procedures and technology available in the dental field and provide those services to my patients. My staff and I attend continuing education courses each year at the Southwest Dental Conference in Dallas so we can stay up with the latest developments and techniques that dentistry has to offer. In addition to continuing education hours I am a member of the Texas Dental Association, American Dental Association, Southwest Academy of Restorative Dentistry, and the InternationalTeam for Implantology. For relaxation, I enjoy hunting, fishing, and traveling with my family.

I have always enjoyed helping others. Through dentistry, I have found my passion is to help others feel comfortable during dental treatment. The trust patients put in me makes me feel truly privileged to work in this field.

I attended San Angelo University where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. I continued on to Texas A&M University Baylor College of Dentistry where I earned my Doctorate of Dental Surgery. I am a member of the American Dental Association and the Texas Dental Association.

Born and raised in Midland, Texas, I has come to enjoy the lifestyle in East Texas. My parents have always supported and encouraged me to pursue my dreams. I am currently engaged to Cherie Richardson. We look forward to experiencing all of the aspects East Texas has to offer.

In my free time I can be found grilling and enjoying all of the different eateries. A large part of my time is spent in the Crossfit community helping others achieve their fitness goals along with my own.
