They offer cleanings and exams in addition to other preventive services like sealants. Silver diamine fluoride, an alternative to fluoride varnish, prevents cavities from developing and spreading in growing teeth.
Dr. Herrin has significant experience in his field and brings many treatment options into practice at Herrin Pediatric Dentistry. He and the team routinely place fillings and crowns and perform treatments like nerve treatments (pulpotomy) and emergency dental care.

Kathy graduated from the Dental Hygiene Program at Georgia Perimeter College. She has enjoyed working strictly in pediatric dentistry for more than 20 years. Her goal is to make every dental visit a positive, fun, educational, and pleasant experience for our patients. Kathy is also very passionate about treating children with special needs and helping their parents and caregivers. In her spare time, Kathy loves spending time with her husband and children. She is an avid sports fan, and her hobbies include running, cycling, and watching her daughters soccer games. Kathy speaks Spanish and greatly enjoys working with the amazing team at Herrin Pediatric Dentistry!
Joyce has been a dental hygienist for 31 years and has spent most of that time working with children. She is originally from upstate New York (Binghampton). Joyce finds it very rewarding to make a child smile, and takes the extra time to educate both children and their parents on how to have a healthy, happy mouth forever. She currently lives inn Marietta with her beloved Golden doodle, Finnegan. In her spare time she loves to read, workout, cycle, hike and try new restaurants in town.
One of Melissas favorite aspects of her career at Herrin Pediatric Dentistry is meeting new people and teaching them to take care of their childrens teeth. Melissa attended Armstrong State University in Savannah, GA. When she is not in the office providing excellent care to patients, you can find her traveling and spending time with her husband and friends.
Marquita loves making our young patients smile and that is why she is such an important part of our team!She graduated from West Central Tech with her certification in Dental Assisting. She has 13 years of experience in dentistry, six of them working in pediatrics. Marquitas mission is to make sure children learn to love then dentist. When she is not in the office she can be found spending time with her family cheering on the Atlanta Falcons!
Hailing from Denver, Colorado, Amanda is a 2010 graduate of the PIMA Medical Institute. After her internship Amanda decided that working with children was what she really wanted to do with her career. It truly warms her heart to see a child leave with a smile on their face knowing she helped put it there! A mom of two herself, Amanda is busy outside of the office but loves to spend time crafting and decorating with her daughters!
When you walk into Herrin Pediatric Dentistry you will be warmly greeted by Heather at the front desk. She loves working with children and helping them to feel at ease when they come to the dentist! Heather graduated summa cum laude from Kennesaw State University with a degree in Human Services. In her free time she enjoys reading and playing board games with her family and her fiance.
When you enter our practice another smiling face greeting you at the front desk will be Marlen! She loves making friends with our patients and their families. Marlen has two children of her own so she understands how nervous kids can be going to the dentist. She is always a friendly face in the office our patients can count on! In her free time Marlen can be found working out with her family in a boxing gym!
Connie has a Bachelors Degree in Social Work, and she enjoys interacting with children and being a part of a fun office environment like Herrin Pediatric Dentistry. She takes great pride in making children and their parents feel very comfortable on their visits to the office. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family and friends.
Our goal is to provide exceptional dental care in a caring and child-friendly environment to all children. With this is mind, a variety of techniques are available to give your child the best chance for a pleasant dental experience.
In our office, it is truly our goal to help lay the foundation for a lifetime of good oral health. It is my hope that through preventive measures, my patients will not experience dental cavities. Herrin Pediatric Dentistry stresses prevention and will work to provide your child with the skills and knowledge to prevent dental disease. If a cavity does occur, it is our goal to address what is causing the cavity and provide strategies to help prevent future cavities in addition to filling the tooth.

My 2 boys had a great experience at Herrin Pediatric Dentistry! Dr. Brent is awesome and both my kids have had great experiences over the last years with him! The office staff and the waiting area was really inviting and fun for us! I would absolutely recommend this practice to anyone!

Our appointment at 11:30 and they not see us at 11:15 because they close at 12:00. They said they don't have 15 minutes grace period. Then when I reschedule because we late 15 minutes, they said if we late second time, we cannot get appointment anymore, we just have to call everyday to see if they have any available on that day. If you have a life and thing can go wrong, specifically with kids, this place is not for you.

This office was honestly by far the best pediatric dental office we have been to. My daughter who is pretty young needed quite a bit of rough dental work needed, and the last dental office refused to use any type of sedation due to her age even though we were referred prior. My daughter has a diagnosis of anxiety thus the reason of us scheduling here for the IV sedation & correction of her teeth. We completed everything yesterday and it went better than I could have imagined, (minus my daughter not being so happy waking up from anesthesia, which is completely normal!). She has little to no pain the day after and is doing amazing. They even called a few hours after her appointment to make sure she was doing good. I'm so grateful we found this office to help my sweet girl and correct these issues now! Front desk was so helpful and the assistants in the back were great as well. I'm very glad to continue my daughters dental work here as she gets older.

I love this dental office, they are so kind and caring. They make sure every kid walks out with an amazing smile. Every time we come and anywhere we go my daughter gets so many compliments on her smile. Dr Herrin did an amazing job by addressing any dental issues that came up throughout the years.

Always a great experience. One of my kids has some anxiety when going into the office but the hygienists are always so sweet, patient and accommodating that she never wants to leave! Dr. Herrin has been very thorough with their dental needs and is always very friendly.

Even though this vist was a bit tramatic experice for my child. We are still very happy with the doctors here. They are really great! This particular visit the nurse or assist was not as calming and careful as I would have preferred. My Child was in pain! The assitant continued to tell my child that she was scaring the other kids and to calm down but my child was crying. This made her and I uneasy. This has never happened before.

We have been coming to Dr Herron for 7+ years! I moved far away to Gwinnett and still make the deal be down for my kids to see him. The new doctors are also great, everyone from the front desk to the ladies at the back are so welcoming, so sweet and so gentle with my kids. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a dentist in the area for their kids.
