Dr. Susana Herrick was born and raised in New York. She received her bachelor of science degree from Central Connecticut State University. While at CCSU she played Division 1 volleyball and lacrosse. She attended the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine, receiving her degree as Doctor of Dental Medicine in 2008. During dental school, Dr. Herrick went on a mission trip to Belize to provide dental care to local residents. She also volunteered at the South Park Homeless Shelter, Give Kids a Smile, Ct Mission of Mercy, and the Special Olympics. She continued her education after dental school by completing a one-year General Practice Residency at Hartford Hospital. During residency, she furthered her knowledge and experience in all facets of general dentistry. She also received additional training experience in the care of medically compromised patients, facial trauma, emergency care, and anesthesiology. This allowed her to offer comprehensive treatment to patients of all ages and disabilities.
In 2009, Dr. Herrick began working here as as an associate and became a partner in 2015. In 2019 Dr. Herrick became sole owner of the practice. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Connecticut State Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry and an active member of The Spears Education Study Club. She is committed to continuing her dental education in order to better serve her patients. She regularly attends seminars and information sessions to stay up-to-date on the latest technologies.
Dr. Herrick resides in Glastonbury with her husband Zach and their two daughters, Isabella and Gabriella. In her spare time, Dr. Herrick enjoys all forms of fitness especially weight lifting and CrossFit, watching and coaching her childrens sporting activities, and spending time with her family.
Dr. Ona Liu was born and grew up on New York City. She attended University of New York at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. While attending dental school, she participated in multiple international dental outreach missions to help the underserved in countries such as Senegal and the Dominican Republic.

I wish I could leave less than zero stars. Dr. Herrick may be the finest dentist in the state but I'll never know due to the spectacular incompetence of her office staff. When I booked my appointment, I was very clear that I had a partially dislodged filling and needed my cavity fixed asap. They said that was not a problem, took all my information and set the appointment. At one point during the conversation, she mentioned something about a cleaning and I specifically said that I would join the practice as a patient and return for regular cleanings but that the immediate priority was filling my cavity. She reiterated that they could do that. Today, after 2 weeks of discomfort, I arrived for my appointment and was informed that I was getting a cleaning. When I explained the misunderstanding, I was then told that they could take x-rays today and then "bring me back in" to address the issue that they ASSURED ME that they could take care of two weeks ago. So if you want to waste your time, gas, and energy, I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Herrick.

I had a the same dentist for 50 years, it was like family. When he retired I was looking for the same atmosphere. Found it at Dr Herrick's...from Emily at the front desk, the hygienist's, to Dr Susana Herrick, all are friendly, professional & compassionate.

Their care and attention to customer comfort continues to shine! I've been going to this practice since it was "Galvin and Round," and the great experiences continue. Dr. Herrick and Co. make going to the dentist stress-free!

I've been going here a long time but just went yesterday for the first time since the Covid pandemic has started and they handled everything very smoothly from the arrival into the parking lot, quick entrance directly to my dental chair, and service was excellent as always. A great place to go if you are looking for a new dentist.
