Dr. Susana Herrick was born and raised in New York. She received her bachelor of science degree from Central Connecticut State University. While at CCSU she played Division 1 volleyball and lacrosse. She attended the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine, receiving her degree as Doctor of Dental Medicine in 2008. During dental school, Dr. Herrick went on a mission trip to Belize to provide dental care to local residents. She also volunteered at the South Park Homeless Shelter, Give Kids a Smile, Ct Mission of Mercy, and the Special Olympics. She continued her education after dental school by completing a one-year General Practice Residency at Hartford Hospital. During residency, she furthered her knowledge and experience in all facets of general dentistry. She also received additional training experience in the care of medically compromised patients, facial trauma, emergency care, and anesthesiology. This allowed her to offer comprehensive treatment to patients of all ages and disabilities.
In 2009, Dr. Herrick began working here as as an associate and became a partner in 2015. In 2019 Dr. Herrick became sole owner of the practice. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Connecticut State Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry and an active member of The Spears Education Study Club. She is committed to continuing her dental education in order to better serve her patients. She regularly attends seminars and information sessions to stay up-to-date on the latest technologies.
Dr. Herrick resides in Glastonbury with her husband Zach and their two daughters, Isabella and Gabriella. In her spare time, Dr. Herrick enjoys all forms of fitness especially weight lifting and CrossFit, watching and coaching her childrens sporting activities, and spending time with her family.
Dr. Ona Liu was born and grew up on New York City. She attended University of New York at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. While attending dental school, she participated in multiple international dental outreach missions to help the underserved in countries such as Senegal and the Dominican Republic.

Dr.Liu filled a cavity on a molar with a crown on it. The results were great and no need for a root canal or referral to an endodontist. The entire staff is so friendly and all financial issues were discussed prior to my procedure. For a guy who hates needles and pain, I experienced none. I highly recommend Herrick Family Dentistry.

First time going and it was a great experience! Roxanne was so nice and friendly, made me feel like I've been a patient for a long time. Very professional and knowledgeable. Already made my appointment in 6 months. Glad I found a great dentist office I didn't get to interact much with Dr. Liu because thank god my teeth didn't need further treatment but she was very nice and professional. Also, The girls in the front desk are so nice and welcoming! Thank you!

My wife said she wanted a couple teeth crowned, but was told that was not needed. These folks are honest! They have also done a great job for my wife and I over the past years.

I've been going to these guys for almost 2 years now and really like them. Very friendly staff and have managed the COVID situation well. I had to wait 30 minutes once for an appointment but things happen so I can't hold it against them. Solid dentist office!

Always a good experience. Dr Herrick has been my dentist since I've moved here 7 years ago. I consider myself lucky to have found a practice I love on the first try! Also, they are well prepared and cautious due to covid. Temp checks, mask, shields and air purifiers in MULTIPLE locations !
