Little Heroes Pediatric Dentistrys founding cape crusader, Dr. Sergio Guzman is a board certified pediatric dentist with three dental practices in the Texas region. Raised in McAllen, Texas, Dr. Guzman was a little hero with big dreams. He learned early that success starts with a smile, and has been defending the little grins of Texas heroes ever since. Dr. Guzman earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He then took on the big apple where he completed two years of specialty training in pediatric dentistry at Columbia University in the heart of New York City. His experience was amazing, but the open skies of Texas beckoned. Now, Dr. Guzman is calling all Little Heroes in the Rio Grande Valley and Laredo! Come join the Little Heroes team and learn how to defend your super smile! Dr. Guzman is an avid superhero collector and enjoys spending time with his wife Vanessa Guzman and their children.
The sugar bug battleground is Dr Alegras favorite Super Place. She can often be found taking a few extra moments to share with families how to prevent cavities. She has a passion for helping kids stay healthy and happy. She began to learn her super powers at the early age of 15 when she assisted a dentist near Philadelphia, Pennsylvania who loved his patients and showed her the art of dentistry. She started her advanced power training with a full scholarship to dental hygiene school. Since then she has earned 3 degrees including her doctorate from Temple Dental School and 2 certificates. Her final certificate was received from the University of Minnesota as a pediatric dentist. She has been honored multiple times, receiving awards for dental health education and as the Most Outstanding Female Dentist in her dental class. Her favorite achievement, capturing the heart of her husband, The Closer Abe, makes her even more energized as he is always devising new schemes to combat those crazy sugar bugs. Together they hope to empower kids throughout the Valley to make it Cape Time and defeat sugar bugs every day.
Dr. Alexander Ochoa Falla is a board-certified pediatric dentist. He received his first dental degree at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogota, Colombia in 1998 and worked for several years as a general dentist. He moved to the United States and earned his second Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Colorado in Denver. He continued to pursue specialty training and received his certificate in Pediatric Dentistry and Master of Science in Dentistry from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. Dr Ochoa enjoys running, hiking, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. He is also passionate about sports, especially soccer and football.

Terrible experience. Office manager called to apologize and offer to make it right but once you get physically hurt by the staff no way I'll go back nor recommend this place to anyone.

I had an awesome experience with all the staff. I've been in multiple places in the valley and this is the only place that "dummied down" for me. They went over pictures of my denture and explained to me what I needed to do to prolong my dental health. Highly recommended!!

Called the San Juan office and was told they didn't have clinic today to call the Pharr office, once I did, I was asked a several questions and then she tells me "we only see adults" and by reading the reviews they see children?

This is by far the best dental group I have been to in a long time. The staff is wonderful and caring. From the front office to the Dentists are a class act. Very kind and explain step by step. High quality work. Don't plan on going anywhere else. Do yourself a favor and check them out. Thank you everyone for making this experience great.

The administration is incredibly incompetent. For example, they charged for a procedure that they stated my dental insurance would notcover. Eventually I called my insurance company and they maintained the procedure was covered. So after months of pestering the manager to submit the claim, the claim was finally submitted and approved. I received a partial refund of $502 out of $700, and they were reimbursed well above that amount by my dental insurance company. One of the dentists ruined my wife fillings and the imprint for her crown had a bubble. My wife complaints were dismissed by the dentist. The office owned up and said they would cover the procedure on their dime. I do not recommend this place to my colleagues. Dealing with this place has been one headache after another. Unfortunately I am stuck with them until all these things get taken care off.

Twice my filling fell off and in the first time they didn't as for X-rays and now they are asking for X-rays. It's all about the money. There at heroes is not about the Patient.

Am so disappointed from this place! First they changed the original appointment day that I have in a little card. I scheduled another day talk to the lady to make sure my son and I we have the same day because we move 45 minutes from this place and I arrive and they say I need to confirm!!!!! I confirm went I did the appointment!! 45 minutes driving and they told me we can schedule another day!!! Really !!! i will give them no stars at all.

Dental hygienist, Israel, took great pride Cleaning my teeth...super awesome. This is definitely the best cleaning experience I have had anywhere and I have had many. He and his assistant are a great team. I also want to add the the staff is awesome; and again overall great experience from start to finish.the time. Thank you all! Highly recommend.

As always, it is a pleasure to walk in to Heroes Dental office / Pharr. Always greeted with a warm smile by the front desk team, my hygienist was fantastic and of course Dr. Gonzalez is the BEST! Thank youuuu Gabby / Billing, you know it all about insurance :) See you guys next month.
