Dr. Yun (Sara) Kim is a board-certified pediatric dentist who joined our practice in 2022. A native of South Korea, she immigrated to the United States when she was seven years old, where she grew up in Suwanee, Georgia, about an hour outside of Atlanta. Drawn to both the challenges and rewards inherent in the dental profession, she earned her dental degree from Tufts University after studying microbiology as an undergraduate at the University of Georgia. She also completed a pediatric dental residency at New York Universitys Langone Medical Center.
Dr. Kim loves working as a dentist because every day on the job and every patient is unique. A kid at heart herself, she chose to specialize in pediatric dentistry because she has so much fun working with children, who, as she says, are spontaneous, resilient, and really funny! She especially enjoys opportunities to serve children with special needs and help their parents develop customized treatment approaches to support their future well-being. For all patients, she places a strong emphasis on oral health education for both parent and child so that each patient gets to develop strong oral health hygiene habits from a young age.

Well I dont know about Dentist but their receptionist, manager are the rudest and unprofessional people in Herndon location. I made an appointment and then came by to ask is it possible to combine consultation and treatment sessions since we already had x-rays, consultation from another doctor, whom i didnt trust. The receptionist explained it is not possible and I asked to talk to manager or doctor maybe they do exceptions. Then Manager sitting next to receptionist jumped in saying that it is not possible and she is not going to double check with doctor. After I said "okay keep the appointment for now, i will call if i decide to cancel or reschedule" and left the building sknce i had a call too. So I left the door and was standing and talking on the phone about my work when their Manager comes out starts yelling from the door to me " I will cancel your appointment"... I tried to show her I can not talk now, and even voiced it to her but she just yelled again " I will cancel your appointment, Bye" and left! Who does that?! it was supposed to be my decision to cancel appointment or not and how can she decide for me when I was not ready to talk... So rude and so unprofessional... no desire at all to go to there anymore even though i saw good reviews about doctors

I came in for my 6 month cleaning my dentist appointment was great! From the front desk down to the dentist hygienist to the doctor herself! I love this office!

It is very first time to visit this office and it was so impressive how they handle and treat the kids. I absolutely, highly recommend this practice for your kids!! Front desk team is very friendly, Also Anna, Sue and Dr. Kim were awesome!! I look forward seeing them again.

Took our 1.5 year old here for her first dental appointment ever. Dr. Kim and her assistant Sue were so gentle and kind.bThe admin staff Melissa and Marcia were super helpful and sweet. We had a wonderful experience and are so happy we found them!

Great family dentist for my 4yr old. The entire staff is welcoming and answers my questions about my child's tooth health. Easy scheduling and flexible hours are also a plus for working parents.

I always I have be on time in all my past appointments, I was late this time and they rescheduled my appointment, they always make me wait more then 15 to 20 minutes I hope the next time don't make me wait on them

I have three kids- 5, 3 and 2 years old, that all get their cleanings here. We've been for 4 visits and they've all been great! Very easy to schedule and I really appreciate that they will see them all at the same time! My daughter had one of her baby teeth knocked out and they even accommodated an emergency appointment to make sure she was ok. We are very happy with everyone we have seen from the front desk to the hygienists and doctors!
