Susan was born and raised in Lexington, Oklahoma. She and her husband Joe have two beautiful children- a daughter and son. They live on a small farm and raise show cattle. She handles most of our insurance processing and financial arrangements or whatever clerical duties we have for her to take care of. In addition to being our office manager, she also is a licensed Dental Assistant (and 'ortho queen' as Doc calls her) from the University of Oklahoma. (Though she is an AVID Oklahoma State Cowboys fan, we know she is probably a Sooner at heart!) Susan is always willing to help anyone in need and generally with a big bright smile on her face. In addition to her love for all things Oklahoma State, she is very active in her hometown church. She and her husband sing in the church choir, enjoy chasing kiddos doing all activities from baseball to show choir, stock shows to cheer and everything in between. She is a big time 'foodie'! Her husband makes some mean BBQ as her specialty is baking desserts; so naturally they 're always cooking up something good and she is always baking something tasty! Her heart has always been in dentistry though and we are so thankful for that! Views on Dentistry 'A smile can be a direct pathway to a person 's heart. You can make someone 's day with a simple smile. Dental health is so important for your health, self esteem and well being. Doc has been my own personal dentist since I was a kid as well and truly believe he is the best of the best. God has truly blessed me to work along side such a great dental family who truly have our patients best interest at heart, always.'
Kim grew up in Washington, OK and became a dental assistant at Herndon Family Dentistry a couple of years after graduating high school. She was a dental assistant for over five years and then attended college and hygiene school at Rose State College. She graduated from the Rose State College of Hygiene in 2002 and she has worked here since then. That 's a combined time of 30 years at our office! (Longevity is a theme around here!) Kim enjoys camping with her husband and son, everything sports, especially OU football, and spending time with friends and family. She is really kind and truly cares for everyone she sees. We are so grateful for Kim and all she does. Views on Dentistry 'As a hygienist, I enjoy the preventative aspects of dentistry such as routine prophys and sealants. I also like scaling and root planing for patients that need periodontal therapy for periodontal disease. As a hygienist, I appreciate the relationships we make with the patients we see regularly. This really makes my job enjoyable! I feel that we help people by not only providing them with excellent dental care, but by helping them to gain the self confidence that a beautiful smile can give.'
Angela (Angie) grew up in the Purcell area. She has been a registered/licensed dental assistant at our office for 25 years! She has been an extremely positive influence for our office during that time with her strong desire to learn and her cheerful disposition. Angie and her husband have a slew of grandbabies they love to chase around and a couple fur babies at home to love on. In her spare time, she and Brad enjoy going to the lake to camp, spending quality time with her sisters and watching OU FOOTBALL! We are BLESSED by Angie and love that she has been such a wonderful part of our family for such a long time. We sure don 't know where we 'd be without her. (Nor do we want to know!) Views on Dentistry 'Dentistry gives me a feeling of purpose and accomplishment! We give our patients time and consideration. We want to treat our patients with the same respect that we would want to be treated with. Healthy teeth are a must for everyone!'
Alex is a great asset to our practice. He is a dental assistant as well as an awesome lab technician. We really love having him at our office because he is always helpful and willing to do any task we throw at him.
Jade Stow is a local gal, growing up in Purcell. Married to her Middle School sweetheart Jordan, they have 4 fur babies at home and a baby girl on the way. Between going to antique car/truck shows, chasing 4 dachshund puppies, riding ATV 's, working with the elderly and spending time with family are just a few of her passions in life. She 'mans' our front office duties well and always has a smile on her face. We are thankful to have her on our team!
Mason comes to us from Mount Pleasant, Texas! This gem is a local Oklahoman originally from Moore Oklahoma, transplanted to Texas with her husband, Ethan with work in years past. An avid softball fan, she actually played after high school for Crowder College in Neosho, Missouri. Mason and her husband have a beautiful baby girl named Scarlet and a recently acquired fur baby, Bevo the labradoodle. She attended dental assisting school in Texas and has a lot of great experience with a wide variety of skills. We are so thankful Mason and her family have chosen to settle back on this side of the Red River she is a wonderful addition to our family!
