Dr. Jameels philosophy is to treat every patient like family. She is passionate about dentistry and strives to provide high quality dental care in the most efficient manner with the utmost integrity. Simply stated, she loves what she does and it shows.
Dr. Jameels been in the field of dentistry since 2004 when she joined The School of Dentistry at The University of Baghdad. After relocating from her home country of Iraq to Jordan as a refugee, she graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Jordan University of Science and Technology. After moving to the United States, she worked as a dental assistant while continuing her education receiving her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Virginia Commonwealth University, where she graduated top three in her class.
When shes not practicing dentistry, Dr. Jameel enjoys exercising, cooking, and exploring the wine country of Virginia. She resides in Springfield with her husband and her soft coated Wheaten Terrier, Bruno.

I went back to Herndon Dental after almost a year and found the practice to be much improved . Very efficient and caring staff . Everything from the point of check in, services provided to scheduling my next visit was seamless . I am very pleased to meet Dr Jameel and her staff and feel reassured that I will receive the care I am accustomed to and expect from a practice .

I've long been a patient and a fan of Dr. Dr. Jameel's. She is the best dentist I've ever had, and I've lived all over the world. It's absolutely clear that she is an expert in her field and so she knows just how to care for her patients. I especially appreciate the way she treats every patient like they're a member of her family. She knows her patients...not only from a dentistry perspective, but also personally. It just doesn't get better than that.

I've been a patient here for 20 years. I appreciated the competence, friendliness, and skill of Dr. Jassal and his staff. And the new owner Dr. Jameel is impressive too. My first session went well, with professional cleaning and Fluoride treatment, every test done, and everything carefully explained. And Dr Jameel's staff members Maricel and Paula are also very friendly and helpful. My second visit, for two crowns, was expensive, but Dr. Jameel and her staff did a great job, pain-free.

Dr. Lina Jameel and her team deserves more than 5 Stars. My entire experience from the moment I arrived till the time I left was completely great. Dr. Lina has very through and personable, she did not rush the appointment and took her time to explain things. I highly recommend this office.

I was an emergency patient due to my regular dentist being on vacation but was treated as if I were a long time one! Dr. Jiheel and the entire staff were friendly, welcoming and so good at what they do. I was very impressed and my crown replacement went quickly with every step explained. Dr. Jiheel was very professional about the fact that I was another dentist's patient and she certainly would be my choice if I ever left my current dentist!

My whole family and I have been seeing Dr. Jassal since 1996 for all our dental care needs. Very honest and courteous practice, never sell you on something you don't need, always monitors any abnormalities before jumping into performing expensive procedures. Absolutely recommend. 7/18/22 - Dr. Jassal retired, new Dr. Jameel just bought the practice, had the chance to meet her today, she seems very knowledgeable, she was very thorough when explaining everything, I think our family would continue to use this practice and see Dr. Jameel for our dental care needs for another 26 years.
