Kristina has been interested in the dental field since high school and that interest catapulted her dental career. She started out as a dental assistant in 2009 and worked her way up to management. Her clinical experience helps in her everyday work as the office manager as she manages patient care, treatment planning, and overall office operations. You may even see her jump in and help out in the clinic! She enjoys helping patients understand the care that they need without pushing them too far out of their comfort zone. She loves the feeling of seeing a patient who walks in nervous and scared, leave happy and confident.
Valerie graduated from Bard College in 2009. Her background is in Stage Management. She applies the skills learned from managing the theater to managing the dental office. She handles the administration side of the dental practice including scheduling, reviewing insurance benefits, creating treatment plans, and processing insurance claims. She enjoys helping patients and making sure everyone leaves the office with a smile on their face.
Dr. Zand received her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree fromUniversity of Marylandin 2006. She is a general dentist who enjoys and practices many aspects of dentistry including root canals, Invisalign, Veneers, implants, crown/bridges, fillings, teeth whitening and basically all that helps promote oral health and complete wellness!
Dr. Zand is a skilled and passionate dentist who takes pride in the quality of her work. Her ongoing success is attributed to keeping up to date with new information and technology through reading medical/dental journals and attending continuing education courses and seminars.
Dr. Mohamed Ibrahim, known affectionately as ‘Dr. Mo’ is an Ivy league educated and trained dentist. He is also the proud owner of Herndon Dental Arts. Dr. Mo has over 16 years of experience and specializes in general, cosmetic and implant dentistry. He is known for his gentle touch and caring demeanor. n nDr Mo graduated from AinShams dental school in Cairo, Egypt which is one of the top schools in the Middle East where he also completed two residencies in both endodontic and oral surgery
Dr. Mo holds a graduate degree in dental medicine from Columbia University and is a proud member of the American Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association and the Northern Virginia Dental Society. Dr. Mo has extensive experience in cosmetic dentistry and is a proud provider of Invisalign Clear Aligners.
From my first visit with Dr. Mohamed Ibrahim and until now, he is the very best dentist I have ever met... he is kind and personable... he makes my visit pleasant .... great man and excellent dentist.

Dr Mo is an amazing dentist, & caring person. I had a dental emergency after hours on a Saturday. I was a new patient to his practice. Regardless, Dr. MO still came in after hours Saturday evening to see me. He was detail oriented & efficiently cared for my dental emergency. I will definitely return to his practice for regular dental maintenance going forward.

Wow! I can't say enough good things about HDA! Front desk was very friendly & helpful, Tech Cindy (i believe was her name) was so great with my 94 year old grandmother. She really helped her through some anxious moments & went above & beyond to make her feel comfortable. Then Dr. Z, was amazing. We never felt pressured to make any decisions, she explained options thoroughly & then told us her opinion based on if she were dealing with her own family on how to proceed. I even texted my sister while there to tell her how much I loved this place. I travel an hour to help take care of my grandma & am thinking of transferring myself to HDA!! Thank you so much!

I have suffered severe tooth decay since receiving 33 rounds of radiation at my neck and jaw for Esophageal Cancer at the base of my tongue. And recently was in a lot of pain. Dr. Mo and his team examined and evaluated the necessary tasks needed to repair the damaged teeth. They then removed 3 highly decayed molars and informed me that the others can be repaired. Then the removed teeth can be replaced with either implants or a bridge. This is excellent news, as I was told earlier, by another huge dental chain, that all my teeth will have to be removed and replaced. Dr. Mo's procedure has given me almost instant pain relief as well as great hope that a majority of my teeth can be saved. Thank you Dr. Mo for the immediate appointment, almost instant pain relief and hope for a dental recovery plan. I will see you soon to continue with the plan.

I have been going here for 4yrs and they are hands down the best dental office I've ever been to. Dr. Zand and Dr. Mo are really kind and always keep me informed on what needs to be done with my teeth. The staff are all really nice too. I highly suggest going here.

Excellent dental practice! I had a dental emergency on a Friday night. Dr. Ibrahim answered my call, walked me through the symptoms, and made an appointment to see me on a Saturday. And I wasn't even his patient! I was back in his office that Monday morning for treatment. He thoroughly explained the process and even showed me his state-of-the-art equipment. His team was also very easy to work with. Herdon Dental Arts has a new patient for life!

I had to have a lot of work done in the last month. Dr. Mo and everyone here is super sweet and super patient. I'm a big baby when it comes to pain but Dr. Mo was understanding and worked with me through all my fears.

I had a crown placed by Dr. Galy. Poor job. the crown smells within less than 6 months from putting. I had over 15 crowns done in South Korea for 10 Years non is defective.

The doctors and the staff at Herndon Dental Arts are the best in the town. I had excruciating pain because of my wisdom teeth over the weekend and I called several dental practices that were either closed or did not answer. I am glad I spoke to Dr. Mo, who was very helpful and agreed to see me first thing Monday morning. All staff at Herndon Dental Arts are friendly and professional. I had to get two wisdom teeth extracted and being my first procedure, I was anxious. I forgot the name of Dr. Mo's assistant but she along with Dr. Mo put me at ease and the whole procedure was done and finished literally within seconds!!! I am thrilled beyond words. I highly recommend this place and am definitely going back here again :). The place is neat as well and I am impressed at the first class service they provide to patients. So happy!!

I went to Herndon Dental Arts in an emergency situation with a broken front tooth. I was welcomed by a very kind and caring staff. Dr. Mo was absolutely wonderful in correcting my dental situation. He, along with his team are very kind and concerned about patient comfort during procedures. They frequently stop and check on your wellbeing . Dr. Mo is also very thorough in explaining the processes and answering questions you may have. I have seen other dentists in the area, but found my new dental care home. Five stars all the way!

Seriously the best dental practice in the NoVa area. Not only was Dr. Mo kind, knowledgeable, and gentle with my tooth extractions but Flor the amazing hygienist went above and beyond to make me feel at ease. Through jokes and laughter, she truly settled my nerves. Phenomenal practice, excellent customer, plus they're extremely clean as well. I highly recommend!

If I could give 10 stars, I would! I've always been scared of dentists and had a really poor experience once that lead me to not visiting one for 10 years... I decided to give HDA a try because so many people were impressed with how great the specialists are, and I now understand why. The office was always flexible and willing to work with my schedule, and everyone made sure I was comfortable and knowledgeable about my procedures. Dr. Ibrahim (Dr Mo :) was super professional and responsive to my fears and needs, did a fantastic job with root canal and crowns, and for the first time in 10 years I can chew as if my teeth are brand new again! Truly amazing place, absolutely recommend, and will definitely come back and bring friends and family!
