Dr. Robert Smith loves living and working in Hernando since 1982. He is proud to serve the community in many ways in addition to dentistry. Throughout his career, he has placed emphasis on relationship and service to others. He has a unique perspective on how care should be delivered to his patients. He has served in leadership positions in different and very important organizations. He has been married to the former Betty Byars of Grenada, MS for forty-seven years. They have one son named, Trey.

They were phenomenal with my visit, went in for a consultation and ended up getting a cleaning and finding out issue I need to fix immediately! Thank you so much!!

Just to let let yall know they don't do cosmetics, however, I went to have a tooth looked at and decided it needed to be removed. I never felt any pain so he knows what he is talking about. Pulling the tooth was a bit uncomfortable but evan the next day after the surgery my mouth does hurt and has stopped bleeding. He is good an I plan on going for the next few year.

I had a bad experience here. I went to get my teeth cleaned in August, all was good until I go to check out. My insurance covers the costs of my teeth cleanings at 100%! They still proceeded to make me pay $48.65 until the insurance "approved it". I told them I've never had to pay or had someone tell me that I had to wait until the insurance company "approved it" to get my money back. The girl at the front desk just responded "yeah insurance is difficult." I called in September to see if the insurance approved it so I could get my money back. They kept saying "we haven't seen them approve it yet but we will keep you updated!". Fast forward to today in NOVEMBER (no one kept me updated!!!), I call them telling them I want my money back and they say "oh yeah we just added it to a credit on your account for when you come back". I said "no I will NOT be back and want a check." They proceeded to write me a check and it was only for $42 out of the $48.65 I paid. They didn't even give me the full amount back. This place tried to just take my money plus keep the insurance money also so beware!

I am very pleased with Dr. Smith's staff & services. They have always been flexible and courteous. They are conveniently located across from Hernando post office. I will continue to go there for my dental needs.

I have only been once but was very pleased. I dont think i have ever had such a thorough cleaning and xrays. I also have a sensitive mouth and was not sore.
