As a dentist, I am daily reminded of how important and rewarding my profession is. Being able to give my patients healthy and beautiful smiles is not only beneficial to their overall health, but it also vastly improves their confidence and self-esteem. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of North Texas in Biological Science with minors in Chemistry and Spanish. I then completed my Doctorate of Dental Surgery Degree at the University of Texas Health Science Center, in 2001. Following graduation, I enrolled into a residency program at Great Lakes Naval Base, in Illinois, and completed my post-doctoral training in Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD). I was born in Athens, Greece where my father was stationed with the US Navy. I moved to Texas in 1989. I am married with two children and a golden retriever. Outside the office, I have fun doing various outdoor activities, like mountain biking and jogging.

I used to fear going to the Dentist due to a dental experience that occurred in my childhood, until I meet Dr. Neilson. He is very professional, kind and gentle. He makes sure that I am very comfortable and I never feel a thing! I am Blessed to have found Heritage Trace Dental!

I became a patient of Dr Luse because of the my wife's positive Heritage Trace Dental. The staff was extremely friendly, kind, knowledgeable, and really made me feel comfortable. I started some extensive dental work with Dr. Luse. I must say my experience has been great. I plan to continue going at Heritage Trace Dental for all my dental needs.

Good staff however their missed appointment fees are unreasonable when you have replied to their text and there is no clear direction for cancelling the appointment and just texting no is not enough and they charge you the $25 fee. I am ok with the fee if I had not attempted to let them know via the text reminder that we needed to cancel the appointment by putting NO. I just called and paid the balance and the receptionist asked me to send them a pic of the text saying "no" so they could send it to their it guy.... the text was back in DECEMBER 2018 I had certainly deleted that message. Then she said she did not see a response to the text ... I'm not even sure what to say to that.... I am calling to pay but I am letting you know SOMETHING went wrong with the system and she basically let me know it was up to me to prove I had attempted to contact them. I don't know what happened so I did pay the fee but we all (7 patients in my family) are certainly looking for another dental practice where the patient is not the one held responsible for keeping screen shots of all communication with the staff.

After a long period without professional dental care, I was somewhat apprehensive about my appointment. This was absolutely the best dental experience of my life. Kind, courteous, caring are only a few words that come to mind. Dr Nielson and his awesome stag get all five stars from me. I wish I could give them 10!

Moved to the area several years back and was recommended to the office by a friend. Great staff and the office has the latest fancy tooth tech. My chompers have mainly been worked on by Dr Luse, she's great. My endondontist actually made a comment about how my fillings were some of the best he's seen! That should tell you everything.

This office is the absolute best! I live in Arlington, and it's well worth the drive. The staff is so sweet, and always makes me feel welcome. Dr. Nielsen is the nicest guy, and a thoroughly competent and conscience dentist. He always makes me comfortable, explains the progress of the treatment he provides, and takes the time to thoroughly answer all my questions. I made the right decision to be a patient here 2 years ago, and will continue to be as long as I'm in DFW.

Best dentist in the Fort Worth/Keller area! My family and I have been going to Dr. Nielsen for 5+ years. Dr. Nielsen and his staff are thorough, knowledgable, and trustworthy in their dental work. Also, very friendly and personable! The chairs are super comfy, you can watch t.v during your appointment, and the office is always kept at a comfortable temperature! The entire office and all the dental tools/instruments used are always very clean. You are sure to be seen at your scheduled appointment time! I highly, highly recommend!
