We tried a 'pediatric dentist' specialty practice and it was a disaster! No patience or understanding for my young daughter 's hesitation of a first time visit to the dentist. Thank goodness we found Dr. Gallos.
Dr. Gallos works with each child's individual comfort level before performing any services. He takes the time to first connect with each kid and then create an atmosphere of trust and fun. It may be just a chair ride, some cool sunglasses, or an amusing video - whatever it takes to make the kids at ease. From the beginning of just counting teeth, all the way to fluoride treatments and filling cavities, my kids don't mind going to the dentist!
And the adult dental care is just as outstanding. Dr. Gallos consistently demonstrates a high standard of excellence and professionalism so I trust his diagnoses and advice implicitly. I highly recommend Dr. Gallos and Heritage Grove Family Dental - you won't be disappointed!

Heritage Grove Family Dental is the best. Dr. Gallos and the whole staff are top of the line. It's always a good experience AND FUN! How often can you say that about going to the denplac! If you looking for a dentist, this is the place!

I've been to many dentists, but no need to look anymore! Dr. Gallos and his team and amazing. They are welcoming, knowledgeable and patient, which has been wonderful for not only myself but my four year old daughter (who can be a squirmy worm). I would give them more stars if I could!

I'm 71 years old. I have been treated by a different dentist since I was a young man but he hasn't kept up with today's technology and is set in his ways. He also farms out just about everything other than cleaning, fillings and crowns. I am at an the age where I want everything done by one dentist and his staff who uses all of the latest technology to provide complete and seamless dental care to his patients. Dr. Gallo and his staff exceeded my expectations on my first visit. They are kind and considerate, efficient beyond measure and with regard to Dr Gallo's skills, let me just say I am blown away! On my first visit he removed a crown and performed a root canal on one of my molars within 15 minutes. This was accomplished after only 1 shot of numbing agent. There was absolutely no pain involved in the procedure and the pain I had before my treatment immediately disappeared. I have never experienced this in my life. In the past, these treatments performed by other dentists were painful and time consuming. I hope to be a loyal patient to Dr Gallo For the rest of my life. See Dr Gallo For any of your dental needs. You will be as amazed as I am.

This was my second time here, 6mos ago was my first time in years. This still is by far my favorite dentist office, the staff and hygienists and Dr. Gallos are all super nice, the place is very clean and has that home feel, not your typical doctors office! (Update 9/2022: Everyone is so nice! Truely this is one doctor appointment I'm comfy with! I still love coming here! There's usually HGTV on the TVs in the room which who doesn't wanna see home remodeling tips!)

Really great doctor. He seems so patient and kind. His office got me in so quick. I'm visiting from out of town and had what I thought was an emergency. Turns out fillings oxidize and change colors over time and my teeth are all really healthy still. It's so hard to find a good dental office these days. If I do move back to Illinois I'll be making this my primary dental office.

A great staff , very friendly , proffesional and go in to great detail on what they are doing and why. I have complete trust in them for the work they are proforming. All questions are answered in detail. I personally would recomend Dr. Gallos and staff.

Today at my appointment, Dr. Gallos told me, "I'm just a dentist." No, Dr. Gallos, you are not JUST a dentist! You are the reason why I no longer go into a full on panic attack when I have work done on my teeth. You are the reason why my daughter has never known a fear of going to the dentist. You are the reason why my kids honestly look forward to cleanings and why my daughter was somehow excited to get a tooth pulled!
