With my wonderful staff, I enjoy helping patients achieve beautiful and healthy smiles. My private practice of 18 years, is conveniently located in Irvine, off the 5 freeway and Culver Drive. I am a graduate of the University of California, San Francisco Dental School. I am affiliated with the ADA, American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, Academy of Operative Dentistry, and the Faculty Club of Spear Education. I hold a part-time faculty position at UCLA Dental School, where I help educate a select group of senior students at the Venice Dental Center. I also hold a Preferred Provider status with Invisalign. My staff and I have a passion for helping people suffering from Sleep Apnea and other sleep disorders. As a dentist, I am able to offer oral appliance therapy for those who are intolerant to a CPAP or those suffering from chronic snoring. I grew up in south Orange County where I reside with my wife and three children. I enjoy fishing, hiking, martial arts, and coaching my son's baseball team.
Dr. Herring has been a practicing dentist for almost 20 years. He is a graduate of the University of California, San Francisco. He brings experience and expertise in all areas of dentistry. He is a member of the American Dental Association and the Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. He is an avid surfer, enjoys mountain biking, snowboarding, fishing and spearfishing.

I have been with Heritage Family Dental for 18 years as part of the front office team. I currently reside in Irvine, a short commute, and enjoy spending time with my 3 beautiful nieces, watching football Go Cowboys!!!, snowboarding and all water sports. I have built a wonderful rapport with so many of our patients and I look forward to seeing them on their dental visits.
Im a registered dental assistant and have been part of this team for almost 20 years and, in fact, one of the first hired dental assistants when Dr. Clibon opened this practice. I currently work at the front desk and have been doing this for about 8 years. I still help the doctors as an assistant at times when they need help. Our patients are like family to me. I have a great relationship with our patients and thats what makes Heritage Family Dental so special.
I have been a dental hygienist since 2002 and havehad the pleasure of being part of Heritage family dental team since 2003. I love being a dental hygienist. My favorite part of my job is building rapport with my patients. I believe dentistry involves a lot of psychology and I am very sensitive to the fact that many people have had previously traumatizing dental experiences. I strive to alleviate their anxiety and create a lasting connection with my patients. Patient education is another important aspect of my job. I like to explain things in a way that is relatable to my patients. Im a member of the California Dental Hygienist Association (CDHA) and I attend meetings for the Dental Hygiene Study Club of OC, quarterly. Continuing education is important to me so I can provide my patients with the most current research.
In my free time I like to camp, hike,and attend music festivals with my boyfriend Josh and my friends. I really love to travel. My goal is to get as many stamps on my passport as possible. I am an animal lover. I have a pug named Rudy.
I grew up in Oklahoma and Im an OU graduate. My goal is to provide the importance of dental hygiene and their systemic health leading to a beautiful set of teeth for life. In my 30 years of dental hygiene (I started when I was 4), I developed a close bond with my amazing patients and the incredible office staff which over the years have helped form the person that I have become. Besides work, my hobbies are Vegas and food!
