Shannon joined the practice in September 2017. Travelers Rest has been home for her and her husband, Blake. However, they have lived in several states during Blake's Navy career. Shannon received her dental assistant training in upstate New York and continued her education in Ohio and Georgia. A few specialty areas she has received training for are: teeth whitening, dental implants, fabricating crowns and dentures. Shannon is quick to make patients feel at ease by building confidence, trust and friendships with each patient. Her caring nature makes it easy for patients to feel comfortable. Her favorite thing about dentistry is helping patients have a healthy smile that they can share with everyone. Shannon and her family all enjoy the outdoors and spending time together along with their 2 dogs, Sammy and Max
Caitlin is from Greenville, South Carolina. She attended The University of South Carolina and graduated in 2014 with a Bachelor's of Fine Arts in Art Studio. She is excited to be able to apply her art degree to the field of dentistry by color matching, making temporaries and models and clear aligners.Caitlin has completed on the job training since April 2019 and also works for an Oral Surgeon once a week. In her free time, Caitlin enjoys to spend time with her boyfriend, Will, go on long runs, spend time with her niece Navey and nephew Fitz and spend time in Charleston as much as possible.
Ashley completed the Greenville Tech Dental Hygiene program in 2006. She has experience in a pediatric office as well as in general practice, and feels comfortable with patients of all ages and special needs. After marrying her high school sweetheart, she welcomed her first child and has worked part time ever since. After having their fourth child, Ashley has cut down her hours to be home with her children most of the time. She enjoys 'staying in the know' with dentistry and has chosen to work with us a few times a month. She has been with Heritage Dentistry since 2018. In her down time, Ashley enjoys reading, camping, fitness and is a Zumba instructor at a local gym. She loves connecting with her patients and helping in any way that she can.
Meet Tracy Scruggs, another one of Heritage Dentistrys registered dental hygienists. With 31 years of clinical experience in the greater Greenville area, Tracy has provided top-notch dental care to a vast array of patients with varying needs. Tracy began working closely with Dr. Hamrick in 2013 at the start of his career, and with his encouragement received her license to administer local anesthesia in 2016. Every day, Tracy strives to provide gentle and comprehensive care to each and every patient by encouraging the conversation between dental health and overall health. When not spending time with her husband and son, Tracy enjoys spending her time alone with a good book and a piece of blueberry pound cake.

Heritage Dental was fantastic with my child who has sensory challenges. In addition to handling the situation well, they followed-up with a phone call in the afternoon to check on recovery. I would recommend this dental office to any family looking for quality care.

No need to fear going to the dentist if you go to Heritage Denistry. The friendly and efficient receptionist gets you checked in quickly. Dr. Hamrick is highly skilled, efficient, gentle, friendly, eager to answer questions and explain any procedures. This is true of the other staff also. Such highly skilled personnel and up-to-date equipment means you are getting the best of dental care. Getting my first crown today was easier than expected and typical of my experiences at Heritage Denistry.

I have a strong dislike for dentistry and heritage, is something really different. It was so encouraging to be treated with respect and kindness going into my first appointment. I don't know if anybody likes having their teeth work done, but it will be much much less painful and annoying with heritage. I'm looking forward to having a great relationship with my dentist for the first time in my life.

Really impressed with Dr. Hamrick and staff. It's apparent they truly care about the patient experience and well-being. I have a tech background, and Heritage is easily the most technically-advanced dentistry I've been to. For example, I was able to see a full 3D rendering of my teeth which no dentist I've been to previously had the capabilities of doing. Additionally, I liked how I could text the front desk about my appointment and ask questions as needed, didn't have to worry about making phone calls back and forth. Lastly - all the forms were online! No physical paperwork required. To balance the cutting edge, the office is in an older remodeled home, which to me neatly balanced that "old school, small town" dentistry feel with 21st century tools and service. Very happy, and very impressed!

I'm a travel nurse on a contract in Greenville. Had a dental emergency and was able to be seen within two hours of calling. Dr. Hamrick and staff were great and very helpful! Highly recommend Heritage Dentistry

10/10 recommend. My two front teeth were severely chipped. They fixed them at a very affordable price, we're extremely pleasant throughout both appointments. Were able to work with me to make my appointment at the most convenient time for me. Definitely the best experience I've had at the dentist, and I look forward to going back to them in the future.

I switched dentists and couldn't be happier that I made the move. The staff are very welcoming. Dr. Preston Hamrick provided excellent dental work as well as being very friendly and personable. The location and added bonus of Botox with Jenn is a great service offered. Returning for sure!

Dr. Hamrick and his team are fantastic! They do a great job of keeping my teeth clean and healthy - and firmly attached! They've addressed issues I've been procrastinating on for years (cracked fillings, worn out crowns, grumpy gums) and are always willing to adjust the level of care to suit my needs. Dr. Hamrick and his staff have worked with me on a long-term plan for the care of my teeth and always have tips and recommendations for taking better care of my teeth at home - whether it's a more efficient way to floss, a better toothpaste, or a discussion about cleaning/whitening products. And, as if all that ^ weren't enough, they are just SO. DARN. NICE. They understand people are anxious about dental procedures and do their best to make sure patients are as comfortable as possible during cleanings and procedures. I also appreciate that they're always willing to take the time to answer all my questions and discuss care options - and they're never 'judgy'. Dr. Hamrick and his team are THE BEST!! (and I have the teeth to prove it!)
