Been with my doctors for 18 years. My sub-specialty is dental forensics. We work on a multitude of cases, primarily identifications and bitemarks. Its challenging but I help families during difficult times. Have been married to Steve, my husband for 36 years. We have two adult children, Mathew in Colorado, and Meagan in Alaska. And one fabulous grandbaby, Gavin, who is sooo much fun.

Starting as a sterilization tech, moving to dental assistant and business team and then progressing to office manager has allowed me to fully appreciate all aspects of patient care and team development. I have three children and two granddaughters. My son, Sean serves in the Navy, my daughter, Alexis is a Registered Nurse and youngest son Shayne, is a senior in high school. I am proud to have earned a Fellowship in the American Academy of Dental Office Management, a national association of practice managers. I am also president of our local chapter. I also assist Dr. Cohrn and the State disaster team as a forensic dental assistant.
I just welcomed the newest addition of my family, Elikai, born March 2021. I have a 16-year-old daughter and a 25 year-old who will give us a grand baby soon. We take Elikai fishing with us and he loves being out on the water. My experience consists of 16 years of patient care first as a dental assistant and now as a hygienist. My task is to be extremely thorough yet compassionate as well. Love my career.
I have been both a dental assistant and hygienist since 1994. I like the progressive technology and taking advanced dental courses. When not caring for my patients I enjoy spending time with my husband, Bill and four children.
I joined our family a little over a year ago but have been a dental assistant for the past 4 years. I graduated with expanded functions including radiology certificate. I graduated from Valencia College with an AS degree in Dental Hygiene. I have learned there is nothing more rewarding than building a relationship, developing trust, helping patients achieve their optimal oral health and maintain a happy, healthy smile. Dr. Duy Nguyen is skilled in all aspects of general dentistry including digital implant planning and placement, extractions and socket preservation, root canal treatment, crown and bridge, restorative, and removable dentures and partials. He is also certified in Invisalign and Botox & Dermal fillers.
Dr. Nguyen completed his AEGD Residency at John Dempsey Hospital UConn Health in Farmington, Connecticut. He obtained his dental training and DMD degree at the University of Florida, College of Dentistry in Gainesville, FL. Dr. Nguyen completed his undergraduate training at the University of Georgia graduating with a dual bachelors degree in biology and psychology.
Dr. Cohrn has been in practice for over 40 years serving the tri-county region for 24 years. He graduated from the State University of New York at Buffalo followed by a General Practice residency at the VA Medical Center also in Buffalo, New York.
Dr. Cohrn is an internationally-known speaker and active contributor in the field of forensic sciences. He is a visiting Professor at the University of Florida Departments of Pathology, Immunology, and Laboratory Medicine, and at the UF College of Medicine. He is also the forensic odontology consultant to the C.A. Pound Forensic Identification Lab, University of Florida.
