Dr. Smith is very proud that twenty pediatricians and many other physicians and nurses have brought their children to him for their care. He has even treated the children of a number of dentists who are specialists that dont see kids themselves.

We are located at 2079 Boston Post Road in Larchmont, diagonally across from the Larchmont Post Office. For your convenience, we have parking behind our building which can be accessed from the side street, Monroe Avenue. We have office hours Tuesday 11:00-6:30, Wednesday 11:00-6:00, Friday 8:30-5:30 and Saturday 8:30-4:00. Dr. Smith is available after hours should you ever need him in an emergency. Several of our staff members speak Spanish and we have treated patients from all around the world.

We try to personalize our care by getting to know your child and by getting a feel for what works best. For young patients, we use a puppet first to act as a model. We begin to teach appropriate behavior by using a tell-show-do technique. When the patient takes their turn, they watch in the mirror while we introduce instruments and procedures one step at a time.

Our office tries to respect your time and we try hard to stay on schedule. We are usually successful because we save sufficient time for all patients and we never double book even during our busy times.

Best pediatric dentist we have had. Kind, knowledgeable and very good bedside manner. My kids won't cooperate but Dr Smith talks and explains very well they love going to see their dentist. I am surprised to see the reviews on billing. We have never had any issues. He has been our wonderful dentist for the past 5 years.

Overall Dr. Smith is a good dentist. He is patient and acknowledgeable. But I am second one of the comments below. We also received big bill a couple of month after three visits. The charge is not covered by insurance as it is for a medicine to make kids calm during the treatment. Not sure if it is good to use that gas on kids. Be careful with his front desk, very rude and not helpful.

Follow up from the previous story below: In regards to previous incidence below, Dr. Smith personally called, explained and apologized for mishaps. I very much appreciate his honesty and open mind in talking this through, and informing me with further useful information. ######################################### They are bunch of liers, not telling me about what proportion of final charge would be covered, and would perform expensive treatments (not covered by insurance) without asking, and just charge. I know this is also partially due to how insurance works in america as well (and it sucks very bad), but the practice was never transparent with what charges and treatments are involved with each treatment either. I am a kiwi from NZ, where dentals are NOT covered as usual medical treatments, and they are expensive down there too. But the dentists there always had the minimal honesty to tell me what are the costs before the treatments and what treatments would be performed. These guys would never tell me. I am not going there again.
