Dr. Richard Herbert is a 1969 graduate of University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. Heserved in the US Army in South East Asia with the First Special Forces Group, returning to the US in 1973 to begin private practice. Dr. Richard Herbert taught at Harvard School of Dental Medicine and the LD Pankey Institute. In his spare time, he enjoys gardening, golf and travel.
Dr. Lindsay Herbert joined her father in practice in 2011 after graduatingfrom the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine.Dr. Herbertcompleted her undergraduate studies at the University ofVermont, where she graduated cum laude. Dr. Herbert's interests lie in all aspects of restorative, TMD and preventive dentistry. She grew up in Montpelier and is happy to be back in Vermont. She enjoys hiking, runningand travel.
Both Doctors have post-graduate training in TMD, Implants, Cosmetic, Occlusion and Restorative Dentistry. They travel throughout the country each year learning about the most recent advancements in their field.
Herbert Dental has a dedicated staff with Melissa a Certified Dental Assistantof over 25 years, she plays both roles of assistant and office administrator; Darcy and Ashley are two Registered Dental Hygienists, each with many years of experience;and Arriana, a Registered Dental Assistant who brings comfort and compassion to our patients . We provide a full range of dental health care services.

As always, I am very happy with the care provided by Dr. Herbert and her excellent staff. While I'm a life-long dental-phobic, they once again made me feel very comfortable. I would HIGHLY recommend Herbert Dental to anyone seeking dental care in the central Vermont area. They are the best I have ever had (in 66 years of living with teeth).

The dental and cleaning work is superb. Moreover, they always treat you very well at the personal level. Recently, they gave me a cancellation opening, even though, just a few days earlier, I had missed another one they had offered.

I confess I'm a total wimp when it comes to dental work so I value the capable and friendly staff at Herbert dental all the more. This is not the lowest up front cost dentist you will find but I have dental work from 23 yrs ago that is still performing flawlessly and in my book that's worth every penny. Mike B.

Herbert Dental - THANK YOU SO MUCH. Last evening I 'flossed' a piece of tooth and filling right out! Devasated I was relieved to go in this morning for the repair/reconstruction. All went exceptionally well. I feel so well care for an can not say enough about the professionalism, care, and dedicstion of this practice. (PS I wa advised to keep flossing - that was not the problem of course but rather a weakened structure.)
