Fernanda Hensley attended the University of Kentucky for undergraduate study. She graduated from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry in 1987. She did a General Practice Residency at the Louisville V.A., where she learned advanced dentistry.
Dr. Hensley stays up to date with the latest dental trends and procedures by attending continuing education courses. She strives to be informed on all current issues and is always looking to the future of dentistry and its excellence.

Was great until Dr. Fernanda found out I was trans. She started acting weird, and then the topic of religion was brought up, she found out I don't believe in God and started preaching at me at the end of one of my cleanings. I asked her to stop and warned her several times she would trigger my trauma (CSA and religious trauma) but she ignored me and caused me to have a panic attack. Fight or flight was triggered, so I ran off instead of arguing. It wasn't a total loss, because my new dental office actually treats me like a person. What a novel idea to people like Miss Hensley, to treat people who treat you nicely kindly in turn, no matter how you feel about their personal choices. Actual professionals.

I had appointment for cleaning and check up. Hygienist was very nice and professional and did great job. Then I saw Dr Hensley for a thorough checkup. Dr Hensley is always gentle and very nice and always professional. The whole staff is great to work with!

Dr. Hensley is the most caring dentist that you will ever find. She saw my mother following a stroke and was very patient and kind with her. She is also very good with children.

Dr Hensley is very thorough and professional, but she is also very warm and personable! She is not afraid to spend some time with you if you have questions or concerns of any kind. The rest of the office staff is wonderful as well! I highly recommend Dr Hensley!

This is the best dental office I have ever been to. Dr. Hensley is kind, honest and hard working. She wants you to be as comfortable as possible and she goes over and above to make it happen. I highly recommend this office. Staff is also very friendly.
