Dr. Charles H. Henry, a native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, came to New Hampshire in 1990. He received his D.D.S. degree in 1981 from Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Henry practiced general dentistry for 5 years prior to starting his residency in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at the Medical Center of Delaware, in Wilmington, Delaware.
As a resident, Dr. Henry received the Walter Lorenz Resident Research Award from the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons for his Modification of Boley Gauge for use as a reference plane in orthognathic surgery.
After completion of the 4-year residency training in Oral & Maxillofacial surgery, Dr. Henry started private practice in Keene, NH. After a year Dr. Henry was selected to receive advance training in orthognathic and temporomandibular joint surgery as a Fellow in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Baylor University Medical Center, Dallas, Texas, under the direction of Dr. Larry M. Wolford.
Dr. Henry has achieved the status of a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery after fulfillment of the requirements by comprehensive written and oral examinations. He is a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He is also a visiting Staff Surgeon at Boston University Medical Center, Boston, MA.
Professionally, Dr. Henry has pursued a variety of research interests. He has co-authored many articles on his research in peer-reviewed journals and is a reviewer for the Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He has presented his research findings at meetings of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and the American Association of Orthodontists.

I just have to thank everyone here. I couldnt have had a better experience. I was extremely anxious, I have a lot of dental anxiety, so I was just about terrified to get my 4 wisdom teeth out. Dr Henry went over the procedure with me, and took the edge off with his humor, which helped my anxiety a ton I had nitrous oxide and local anesthesia and Dr Henry talked to me through the whole thing and explained what he was doing throughout the procedure and it went a lot quicker than I thought it would. Dr Henry and Marie (I believe that was her name I'm sorry if I'm wrong) made me feel so comfortable and were so patient and kind. Felicia at the front desk is so sweet and answered all my questions before I came in for my appointment. I missed the call but Dr Henry called to check in later that night to check in on my recovery which I so appreciated. Everyones kindness definitely put me at ease and I'm so grateful for a good experience. Thank you guys!

Just got 2 wisdom teeth removed here today. Dr. Henry is quick, empathetic, and has a great sense of humor. The procedure went super quickly and he kept joking to keep me comfortable. His staff is friendly, especially Patty and Jodi at the front. Both ladies went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable and that billing was transparent. I have another appointment in a couple months for my last wisdom tooth to be extracted - I know I will be in capable hands and looking forward to seeing Dr. Henry and his wonderful staff again.

In 1994, I was in a catastrophic car accident in NH and smashed my face into my steering wheel, knocking a number of my front teeth up into my head. I was rushed to the emergency room in the middle of the night and Dr. Henry showed up and performed emergency surgery on me, miraculously saving all of my teeth. A few years later, Dr. Henry performed oral maxillofacial surgery on me, completely correcting my underbite, which had become exacerbated due to my car accident. The oral surgery made me look completely normal again. Besides being an absolute legend at what he does, Dr. Henry is also a pretty down to earth and cool guy.

Saw Dr. Henry for a tooth extraction. Excellent experience. Dr. Henry's staff was very friendly and professional. Dr. Henry carefully explained everything and I had very little discomfort with the procedure. He later called me at home to check to see how I doing, which I've never had any physician do before and I was very grateful. Definitely recommend him and his staff.

Dr. Henry and his staff made me feel calm, comfortable and safe. They answered all my questions, took the time to educate me about options and helped me to make a decision. They communicated with my regular dentist, and my insurance company to make sure everything went without a hitch. I highly recommend this practice! I had two implants and an extraction, and if I need more work (which I hope I don't) I will certainly be back!

The office was quite cozy, everyone was super friendly. Dr. Henry was incredibly comforting in the way of words and right of the bat expressed his sense of humor, which helped ease the nerves a lot. In addition he was incredibly thorough with explaining the procedure, care and so on. The procedure itself only took 30-40 minutes, and I didn't feel a thing. Dr. Henry talked me through most of the procedure, constantly reassuring me as well. His assistant was also very helpful and comforting, making sure to ask how I was doing. Overall with how nervous I was it was a decent experience, and that same night I received a call from Dr. Henry who provided more humor as he checked in with me and answered any questions I had.

Rude, doesn't return calls, doesn't care about pain after a MAJOR procedure. Getting sued and having dental board contacted! Now BREAKING the LAW by refusing to release dental records! Messed w WRONG person. Should NOT have marginalized, mocked, and discounted my pain for 2 weeks. NOW I have a SERIOUS issue due to incompetence.

Best experience provided in a professional, clean, and COVID-safe environment. My husband had an appointment for an implant and Jodi, at the office, could not have been more helpful in guiding us through the whole process. We were concerned about driving 2 hours from home, but were referred to Dr.Henry's office by multiple people on the Seacoast. Dr.Henry's staff have been amazing checking-in with us to make sure that everything is healing as it should. We are so glad we made the trip, we have a follow-up in a few weeks and are very happy with the results.

Forget the 5 star rating. I'd give it a 100 star rating.!!! I was nervous about having 4 wisdom teeth extractions but they made this experience a piece of cake. Dr. Charles Henry, Jodi, & Elizabeth were excellent to me. This was an awesome experience for me. They helped me stay calm and were very reassuring the whole time. From scheduling the appointment , checking in the day of, to the end of my procedure, Great service, Great people !!!!! I would highly recommend going here.!!!!!
