Dr. Mike Henrickson grew up in the greater Minneapolis St. Paul area. As a son of Dr. Myron Henrickson, who was also a dentist, Dr. Mike aspired to continue in his fathers footsteps. He attended the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2004. After graduating from dental school, he attended the University of Florida and completed Advanced Education in General Dentistry, gaining priceless experience in procedures that are mainly done by specialists. While participating in this program, Dr. Mike completed the Dawson series on occlusion and worked with some of the most respected dentists in the world. After completing his residency in 2005, he joined his dad in Maplewood and became the owner of Henrickson Dental in 2008; his father retired in 2014.
Dr. Mike has completed many continuing education courses, and he attends monthly meetings with a Seattle Study Club. He is also a member of The Academy of General Dentistry, the Minnesota Dental Association, and the American Dental Association. Dr. Mike Henrickson has mentored many newly-graduated dentists, and he has lectured on various topics in the field of dentistry.
Dr. Mike provides superior dental care by incorporating patient education, comfort, and technology. He also knows how important it is to give back. Dr. Mike organizes volunteering events for his office, such as serving meals at the Ronald McDonald House, preparing meals for Feed My Starving Children, and planning an annual dental mission trip with Great Shape, Inc.s 1000 Smiles program, where he and his team travel to Jamaica to provide dental treatment to adults in the rural communities.
In his free time, Dr. Mike enjoys spending time with his wife, Laura, their son, Max, and their daughter, Madeline. He is also an avid sports fan who loves skiing and playing golf, tennis, and hockey.
Dr. Ballinger comes to us with an education from The University of Minnesota School of Dentistry, where she graduated with honors in 1998. She decided to further her education by enrolling in the Advanced Education of General Dentistry while working for a prosthodontist in the evenings.
Dr. Ballinger has years of experience in all areas of dentistry and is grateful to have the education and the abilities to treat her patients-seeing each of her patients leave the office with a healthy, happy smile is her goal each and every day.

Crystal is our general manager, and although she has been with the practice for 8 years, she has been in dentistry for 20 years. Crystal continues her education through various programs. I love being part of a comprehensive team that takes pride in helping patients get healthy and making their smile brighter. She has a daughter attending the University of Wisconsin.
Heather has been working for Henrickson Dental since 2004. She graduated from Century College with an Associate of Science degree in dental hygiene. Our office has strived and continues to be on the cutting edge of technology. I love helping patients obtain their perfect smiles and a healthy mouth. I could not imagine a better place to work! Heather has been married for 16 years. She enjoys the outdoors and traveling, and she has a passion for photography.
Tammy has been with our Henrickson Dental family for the past 25 years. She has years of experience that shows the quality through the care that we provide for our patients. I love seeing happy patients with healthy, beautiful smiles!
Kelly is a licensed dental assistant and helps with our front desk. She has been with Henrickson Dental for 3 years. She graduated from Century College in 2013 with AA & AAS degrees, and she was on the Deans List for high distinction. She likes how our dental team works together and contributes to the success of the dental office by being cross trained in most areas. Because of this cross training, Kelly enjoys the ability to float where needed and being a team player. I love being part of the Henrickson Dental team!

Both my wife and I have been going to Henrickson for a few years. Our appointments have started on time and the hygienist is very good - she makes you feel comfortable and listens to your concerns. There is no "hard sell" to get work done that is not needed!

Staff is great and nice to work with. Biggest complaint is that after going in for a deep cleaning. I had some nerve damage caused by the local anesthetic injection. I lost the sensation of taste, feel, and felt a constant tingling of the right half of my tongue. Nearly 2 months later from this visit and I'm now starting to regain taste and feel.

Thank you team Henrickson Dental. From the moment I arrived to the time I left, I had nothing but good experiences. The receptionist was nice and helpful, the hygienist was an angel and the dentist took his time and was very informative. I highly recommend this place!

This was my first time with Henrickson Dentist, and my husband and I really like the service we received. They took there time with us. Explained to me what I needed to know, and what I needed to do. It's Very clean , and a friendly staff.

I have never felt more comfortable on a first time with a new dentist. I had a few medical issues and they worked so hard to be sure I was comfortable, and that I knew what was happening. He took a few extra breaks when I needed. He gave me so much information, way more information about my teeth than any other dentist ever has. I really felt I was able to make an informed decision about what direction I wanted to go with my treatment. They just made the whole experience fun. I look forward to a long relationship with my dentist Dr. Mike Hendrickson.

The most professional, informative experience with the dentists I have ever had! Angi and Dr. Hendrickson were wonderful, kind, patient and explained everything. I was peaceful and at ease during my procedure. The secretary was so kind and helpful,too. I'm so grateful to them...I'm telling everyone I know to go here! THANK YOU

My first time at this dentist and everyone was so nice. Dr. B was my dentist and she did an amazing job explaining everything to me, also Heather did a great job cleaning my teeth. I am grateful that I found a dentist that really care about their patients. I looked forward to my next visit with Dr. B.

I was called earlier in the day, asking if I could come in 40 minutes earlier, which I could not due to work. I arrived to my appointment and waited in the lobby for nearly 10 minutes before someone greeted me. At that time I had found out, had I come in for the earlier time, I would have waited 30 minutes. Dr. Mike spent roughly 60 seconds with me. It was very apparent that I stood between him and his weekend. The only good thing about my experience is my wonderful hygienist - Jackie! She is a ray of light in an otherwise unpleasant experience and incredible at what she does! She deserves 5 stars! The rest of my experience is a 0.
