Dentistry is what I have wanted to do professionally since I was a teenager, and the job has been more fulfilling than I ever expected it to be. I come from a family of dentists. The tradition began with my great-grandfather. Both my father and uncle took up the profession, so my sister and I became dentists as well.

I really enjoy surpassing a patients expectations, whether for pain relief, aesthetic improvement, or personalized care. I also love having the opportunity to meet so many people and learn about their lives. It makes me feel truly connected to my community.

I am happy to make my home in the Greenwood neighborhood of Seattle. My wife Ann and I are the proud parents of our 5year old daughter Kerry (who is starting school this year!)and our newest addition-18month old Cameron David.

I love the Cascade Mountains. Im an avid hiker and I even took up skiing when I moved to Washington. I enjoy catching a Mariners or Sounders game whenever I can, and am now getting into fly fishing. I am also a board member of the Western Washington Alumni Club for the University of Iowa.

Sharon has been with our team since 1998. She is in charge of our financial management and patient insurance processing. She loves having the chance to interact with so many people through her job and participating in the creation of a positive care experience for each patient. Sharon is the mother of a teenage son who is very active in sports. She enjoys dancing, gardening, going on walks with her dog, and having lively conversations with her book club.

Rachel came to our team twelveyears ago, having begun her dental career in 1994. She works with children and adults to improve and maintain their oral health through gentle and effective hygiene care. Her calm, friendly demeanor, along with a professional attitude toward the cleanings she provides, is always appreciated by her patients and the rest of our team. Rachel is married with two wonderful children. She enjoys spending her free time with her family and her church family, and when she gets the chance, Rachel loves to travel.

Thyla graduated from Eastern Washington University in 2008 with a bachelor degree in dental hygiene and has been practicing ever since. She was born in a very small town in Vietnam. Her family migrated here when she was 12 yrs old. She came from a country where there was no dental access. She picked her profession because she wanted to make a difference to those who care about their oral health. She wanted to help guide patients on the right path, to achieve optimum oral health. Outside of dentistry, she enjoys reading novels, especially on a rainy day. On sunny days, she likes to go on hikes with friends. She also volunteers at the Union Gospel Mission dental clinic at least once a month. She loves being a part of this team. Everybody is so friendly, patient focus, and drama free!

Janet is our Lead Dental Assistant and has assisted Dr. Hennessey with restorative dental care of our patients for more than 23 years. She works hands-on with each patient, helping everyone to enjoy a healthier, happier life. Janet especially enjoys the relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere of our office, and the dedication of every member of our team to give generations of families truly rewarding dental experiences. Janet and her husband have been married for 29 years, and have two children and twograndsons. Her time away from the office is spent on home projects, gardening, backpacking, and enjoying time with family and friends.

Amy has been caring for dental patients for over 22 years, and worked with Dr Ford for 10 years prior to Dr Hennessey taking over. She strives to build relationships with her patients and finds their trust very important and rewarding. She takes pride in keeping her patients comfortable and leaving the office happy.
