Henderson Orthodontics is proud to serve Grand Prairie, Arlington, Irving, Duncanville, Cedar Hill, De Soto, Lancaster, and surrounding areas. We are dedicated to providing the highest level of dental medicine along with friendly, compassionate service.
The goal of the ABO is to promote the highest level of orthodontics. They want all orthodontists to be held to a high standard so that their patients get the care they deserve. They also want to protect the general public against orthodontists who are unqualified to practice.
The ABO has several main objectives. The first is to provide examinations and certificates to graduates who are able to practice orthodontics at a high level. They also offer a diplomates career, which means that orthodontists are re-evaluated through their career and with examinations to ensure that they are practicing the way that they should be.
After an orthodontist becomes certified, the ABO helps to continue the orthodontists education with continuing education programs. They want to promote the latest technologies so certified orthodontists can continue to give patients the care they deserve.
Though it is worth it, it is not easy to become board certified. Orthodontists must pass both written and clinical examinations. The board will also go over their credentials to make sure that they are qualified to receive the honor. This process can take quite a few years, usually between five and ten years. Once an orthodontist becomes certified, he or she will have to become recertified every ten years to maintain the board-certified status.

I called to make sure when was my sons appointment since I have t heard no remainders, and they told me he didn't have any. I asked why was that? They said because I cancelled last time and yes I did, because they want to give you appointment times " when kids are in school" that is so ridiculous, I asked them why they haven't call me at all and with a smart answer they told me they don't call patients... so how am I supposed to know when his next monthly appointment will be. But they do have time to take my monthly payments huh? . I called because he has his wire sticking out and it is an emergency and they are trying to give me an appointment a month apart . It is a joke. I am really really tired of this place, never answer phone calls and front desk are always with a mad face giving attitude. I wish I can communicate with the manager of this place.

I do not recommend this Orthodontist, I tried to support this Dr. But I can no longer support their unprofessionalism. Total waste of my time and hard earned money! You've been warned, find another orthodontist, it's plenty of Orthodontist that can provide you with better care!

Dr. Henderson and his team are AMAZING. They are professional, friendly and always offer a willingness to help in every way. They are very knowledgeable and patient with you from start to finish. I am very happy with my results. I get so many compliments on my smile. From the smallest issue with your mouth to the biggest, Henderson Orthodontics is where you should go if you want positive results. Thank you Dr. Henderson for all that you do. The world is a much better place with you in it.

Dr. Henderson needs to get a new set of front desk, I got to the office and no one bothered to even greet me, they weren't even doing anything just talking to each other. They want to look at you like you're crazy for asking a question. IF YOU DO NOT LIKE YOUR JOB GO ELSEWHERE. Being a front desk requires you to be a people person, if you don't like people find a new job. Plain and simple. Dr. Henderson deserves better people working for him.

As a member of the health community for almost 20 years, I've never encountered an office so incompetent. The business manager is unprofessional and evasive (the most tactful description I could come up with). The third party billing company isn't familiar with medical terms, nor billing codes or protocol. The turn around on return phone calls from the treatment team is about 3 days at best and the orthodontist himself pretends to not know what is going on in his office. We were referred to this office by someone who hoped we would have a better experience than they did but unfortunately we did not. That being said, if you are looking for orthodontic treatment that comes without a headache and stress DO NOT GO TO THIS OFFICE.

EXCEPTIONAL, SUPERB, AWESOME are the words to describe Dr. Henderson and his staff. Dr. Henderson is ALWAYS very professional, polite and truly cares about his patients. He listens to his patients and accommodates their desires if it does not interfere with his treatment plan. His staff is always very professional and courteous. The mood in is his office is very pleasant, therefore I have never dreaded any of my scheduled/unscheduled visits. Also, his office is very accommodating whenever you need an "emergency" visit. I highly recommend Dr. Henderson for your orthodontic needs for ALL ages, from 7-70!!

We absolutely love Dr. Henderson and his staff. My daughter and I both have braces. I had my braces removed 1 month ago after having them on for about three years. I am very pleased with my new smile. Can't wait to see end results. I highly recommend Dr.Henderson.

Dr. Henderson is very professional, knowledgeable, and seeks perfection in his work to help his patients achieve their best smile!! I am so excited and smile constantly to show off my beautiful teeth! I am a tough case because I have schleroderma which makes my skin tighter and hard to get to back areas. Dr. Henderson and his staff are so patient and worked hard to make me comfortable and ensure I was satisfied. I would recommend him to anyone!!
