I absolutely love being an orthodontist! Aside from all the technical aspects of my profession, I love that my job gives me a unique opportunity to form meaningful relationships with families in my community.
As much as I feel like I get to influence lives by creating beautiful smiles, I am also very much impacted by my patients every day. Spending time with each patient working together toward a beautiful smile is always a rewarding experience for me.
I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from Harding University, where I played tennis as an Intercollegiate Tennis Association Scholar. Then, I attended the Texas A&M University of Baylor College of Dentistry and graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery.
When Im not at work, theres nothing Id rather be doing than spending time with my beautiful and wonderful wife, Kayli, and our children. We also have a golden retriever named Sammy, who keeps life fun and energetic.
I love hunting and fishing, and almost anything else in the great outdoors, like snow skiing, backpacking, kayaking. In college, I was an NCAA Division II tennis player, and I still play when possible. I stay active in church, teaching and serving in whatever roles I can.
Im Dr. Hemphills wife. I stay as active as I can be in the practice, though our son Witten keeps me pretty busy these days. I love running, working out, and spending time with my family and golden retriever, Sammy.
My husband and I enjoy spending with our families and eating home-cooked meals while we watch our teams. I also enjoy going on walks, game nights with friends and continuing my search for the best chips and queso in Texas.

Just starting treatment, but from Nina and Paige at the front desk to Scar and Mia and of course Dr Hemphill in the back, they have been nothing but a pleasure to deal with. Looking forward to my follow up visits and working with their awesome team!

March 2022 Hemphill Orthodontics family is the best!! Had to go in for a retainer replacement, love the new technology fast & simple...no more yucky stuff for the impression : ) & new staff is amazing & very sweet. Thank you!! Hemphill Orthodontics, they are awesome!! 5 months into my treatment and I can already see a difference, very pleased. Dr. Hemphill and Nina are both very nice and caring individuals. : )

DON'T WAIT BOOK YOUR APPT NOW. I am gearing up for jaw surgery and that means I need adult braces (insert cringe). Surgery of this magnitude takes a lot of prep work with the teeth, and I needed a competent Dr. with experience as well as staff I enjoy being with and get along with... after all, I will be spending about 2 years of my life with these people. I interviewed several offices and Hemphill Ortho was by FAR the best. The staff is kind and caring, and Dr. Hemphill did a wonderful job of listening to my story and concerns. He explained the treatment plan to me (several times, I had a lot of questions) without talking down to me. They know who I am when I call, and Dr. Hemphill seems genuinely invested in the success of not only my braces, but the upcoming surgery as well. I've already decided if my kids need braces we'll bring them to this office. I'd give 10 stars if I could!

I recently got my braces put on by Dr. Hemphill and although I cannot physically see the difference the amount of support his staff and him give is amazing! The atmosphere is welcoming from the first time I stepped into the office. The layout is very neat and I can tell they take care of their patients by the refrigerator full of water and coffee. Oh, but when they found out I have a nickname they started to call me by that! What a lovely feeling! I am not used to such outstanding service. Thank you for the experience. The impression I left after getting my braces is that I am a part of a true family!

My husband decided to have his lower teeth straightened. Hemphill Orthodontics was recommended by our dentist. We have found their office to be efficient at scheduling and Dr. Hemphill's work to be very good. My husband, at age 64, was pleased with the results of Dr. Hemphills diagnostic work and with each visit, could see the results. We would recommend Hemphill Orthodontics to those at any age who are looking for a good, professional practice to handle orthodontic needs.
