we are dedicated to providing our patients and their families with complete care from start to finish. Our unique business model was developed by Dr. Ben Unruh, who is passionate about putting children at ease and delivering a positive, pain-free experience every visit.
Dr. Ben was born and raised in a small town located just outside of Wichita, KS. He received a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Kansas in 2004 and went on to obtain his DDS from the UMKC School of Dentistry in 2008. After receiving his DDS, he spent four years in the National Health Service Corps providing dental care to underserved children. He went on to complete specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry at Northwestern University in Chicago where he was named Chief Resident in his second year of residency. While attending Northwestern, Ben began practicing at Jenkins & Leblanc Dentistry for Children.
In 2017, Ben saw a need for a Pediatric Dentist in the Blue Springs, MO area and decided to open Hello! Pediatric Dentistry. When he is not in the office, Dr. Ben enjoys spending time with his familys dogs, golfing and watching the Kansas City Chiefs. Dr. Ben is the oldest of four siblings, one of which, his brother, Arthur, is also a dentist.

Everyone there is so nice and helpful My daughter was scared to the dentist and they've been really good and patience with her they show her everything first before they do anything to her

I took my granddaughter there for her appointment. Her mother was unable to go with her. By the time the assistant exraying and fluoride treatment on her teeth, it was a 25 minute wait for the dentist to come out and say what he saw on the x-rays, my granddaughter needed a cap removed from her tooth because her permanent tooth was coming in under the baby tooth and the cap, causing her a lot of pain. While I was at the desk an appointment scheduler said I could come back that same day at 4:30 p.m. I had to say I could not because of an appointment already rescheduled for a grandson. So she told me the only opening she had was on December the 28th my mouth dropped open. I suppose she expected her to wait that long for help, being in pain, how insensitive.Was it because we were African Americans.

Absolutely love this place. Super kid friendly. Just went for our first visit yesterday for a cleaning on my 4 year old & EVERYONE WAS SO NICE. unfortunately out of network for our insurance but still a great experience! Would definitely recommend to anyone with littles

My kids were nervous about going to a new dentist when we moved here, but they were immediately comfortable when we walked in and the front desk staff greeted them by name. ALL of the staff were so warm and kind!

My son and I had terrible experiences at a dentist when he was 3 and 5. He's now 6 and I told him we'd try a new place. We searched and saw the good reviews for Hello! The first thing he said when we left the appointment was "Where do we give the stars?! They get 5 more stars!" The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The office was extremely clean. My 6 and 3 year old got to do their appointments together which made them more comfortable. They printed my son's x-ray to take with him which was so cool! We recommend them and will be back!

My daughter was traumatized by an experience at a average dental office. She loved it here. She will have to have some treatments in the near future and Have faith she will feel comfortable knowing she is going somewhere she will feel cared about. It was quick and easy too, ppw done on my phone, added my 3 yr old when he got excited about what his big brother and big sister were doing. Just all in all amazing. Not to mention the positive energy when we walked in to office and also when we went back for our appt. Beyond impressed!
