A native of Pacific Northwest, Dr. Annikka is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist, and a recipient of theprestigious Richard C. Pugh Achievement Award, scoring in the top 3% of all candidates who took the ABPD written board examination. She is extremely passionate about pediatric dentistry and helping the little ones have the best experience at the dentist.
Teodora is a very dedicated pediatric nurse who has been a part of the Hello Kids Dentistry team since its inception. She is originally from LasVegas, Nevada and has extensive experience in healthcare management and multi-specialty pediatric care.
Dr. Annikka was born in Alaska and grew up in Sammamish, WA. She is passionate about helping children maintain a healthy, beautiful smile from birth to adolescence. Dr. Annikka will work with you to develop a comprehensive prevention and treatment plan that fits your childs needs. Her goal is for your child to feel comfortable and happy while receiving exceptional care.
She received her Bachelor of Arts in Human Biology with a focus on community health and health disparities from Stanford University. She completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry, graduating with high honors. She completed an additional 2 years of extensive training in pediatric dentistry at the University of Florida and Shands Hospital, treating patients in-office, under sedation, and in the operating room.
Dr. Annikka is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist, and a recipient of a prestigious Richard C. Pugh Achievement Award, scoring in the top 3% of all candidates who took the ABPD written board examination.

My toddler had such terrible experiences with her first dentist. She came here very afraid, and they worked with her and divided her appointment into 2 sessions so she could slowly adjust and get comfortable. Our second session was with Denisha, and my daughter was so comfortable with her and developed trust very quickly. At our first appointment, my daughter wouldn't even open her mouth. By the end of her second appointment, she had brushed, flossed, even had her teeth checked by Dr. Annikka and was able to get fluoride!! They have us scheduled for an appointment in 3 months just to come in and meet with Denisha so she can continue to work with her, it's not even a real appointment! I'm so impressed by how patient and willing this place is to help kiddos get used to the dentist. I was absolutely blown away. If your child has sensory issues or is just plain afraid, this is the place for you. They won't stop trying.

Love being able to feel comfortable and normalize the dental tools they use with my toddler. In fact, since her last check up, she has had reported zero cavities and she goes to brush her teeth before bed and once either waking up or after breakfast without me asking! She loves getting prizes and helping the Dr/dentist/assistant with the brushing process. I have had a great experience as a mom too they let me know what they are doing and help keep me involved with learning different techniques for healthy oral care. Thanks to Hello Kids, my child doesn't need to be afraid of the unknown when it comes to her teeth!

My daughter had her first dental check up today and the staff and doctor was amazing. It was easy to book an appointment, easy check-in process, and efficient. She got a cute bear and goodie bag too. I'd recommend to any parent.

They were great with my 5 and 2 year old and made both feel so comfortable when they were nervous going into it. I'm a teacher and had a hard time finding the right place that accepted insurance, but we're very happy we found Hello Dentistry!

New out here and have been in search of a great dentist for my kids without any luck! I was in the process of scheduling dental work for my daughter under anesthesia by another dentist who gave us one option only!! It felt like it was their way or no way at all. I thought about flying with my daughter back to California to see her previous dentist. A little extreme but that is where my mind was at since she has had a traumatic experience before. Thankfully, I came across Hello Kids Dentistry online. Upon reading their reviews, I thought.... Why not give it a try. I was nervous and worried not knowing what to really expect. when We went in for a consultation Dr. Annikka and her team were amazing and quickly put my mind at ease. It was like night and day comparing to the previous dental office. Dr. Annikka gave me options and I felt a sign of relieved. We went back for a treatment the following week and it was one of the best experiences my daughter has had in a dental office in a while. We both felt ease! They are amazing with kids!! If you are in search for a great dentist, look no further and give them a go and hopefully your child will have a pleasant experience like we did.

Kind, positive, and very knowledgeable clinicians in an accommodating environment! Another mom with an autistic child recommended this dental office to me. Her son needs low-stimulatory and quiet environments, which the office was able to accommodate easily with a separate exam room away from the slightly busier regular exam areas. My autistic child requires different supports; he is most successful in new situations when he prepares ahead of time and knows exactly what will happen. I knew that he needed X-rays taken -an impossible task at his prior dentist - and the Hello staff was eager to help us. When I made the appointment and explained his support needs, the front desk staff member texted me several pictures of the office, X-ray area, apron camera, and bitewings. She also explained what each item was and how it would be used so that I could prepare a social story for him. And he got X-rays of his front teeth taken! When he was unable to keep the bitewing in his mouth for images of his molars (very tricky task for little mouths), his hygienist, Tina, was gentle and persistent, but did not push him and praised him for his effort. This positive, gentle reinforcement was important as perceived failure on his part can trigger a meltdown. But he did great with Tina and Dr. Annikka and joined their Cavity-Free Club that day. My younger, neurotypical daughter had a lot of fun at her dentist appointment and it was an easy experience for her. I was also very impressed with the amount of parent and child dental education from Dr. Annikka. She was very thorough with her examination and answered all my questions. She was informative and encouraging, pointing out specific things that she will continue to monitor with each checkup and things we could look out for. When I mentioned how differently plaque accumulates between my two children, she mentioned how there is increasing research acknowledging the importance of the oral microbiome on oral health. She did not know that I am a PhD-trained microbiologist who studied the oral microbiome and taught dental students on this very topic. It is refreshing and comforting to know my children are receiving care in an office that is inclusive and accommodating with a knowledgeable dentist who is current with dental research.

My kids have been patients of Hello Dentistry for a few years now. All the staff have always been so welcoming and friendly. Yesterday afternoon, my daughter had cracked her last baby tooth on a granola bar. Melissa was able to schedule her in for early this morning for the check up AND the treatment. And on a holiday week! I was so afraid of not being able to get her in. The visit was easy and pain free. My daughter said she didn't even feel the shot, in fact she didn't even know she got one until I asked her about it. The office is clean and beautifully decorated as always. I definitely recommend them!

I was nervous taking my kids to the dentist after not having gone in a long time. My older kiddo was anxious as well, but everyone was friendly and welcoming. They did a wonderful job of putting my kids at ease and making it a fun experience. I was also thrilled that they took our Tricare United Concordia insurance, because it can be a challenge to find an office that does.

I brought my daughter in and she had spit up juice all over herself just before arriving at her first appointment. I called and was immediately shown to the restroom where I cleaned her up. The whole staff was very understanding and they tried to make her as comfortable as possible for her exam after that. I would definitely recommend them because even though it was a rough morning for my daughter and myself they did everything to make us have a good experience!

Took our daughter for an appointment to Hello Kids and had THE BEST experience ever! Theo our dental assistant was very thoughtful and explained everything in detail to our daughter. She was made to feel extremely comfortable which was a big deal for me since it was her first appointment. Dr. Annika was very thorough and explained things to me as a parent so I felt happy with the process and all questions were answered . I am soooo grateful we found this dentist for our children and we will recommend them to everyone we know!

We had an amazing time at the dentist. They were so sweet to the girls. They want to know exactly what would make their dental visit a good experience for them. The dentist we worked with was so attentive and talked directly to them. It was a great visit and we're so happy we found them!

Took both my children in, ages 2 and 5, they had a fantastic experience. Staff from the front desk to dental team were absolutely amazing! Highly recommend! Both kids were happy when they left.

They claim to accept all insurance, but when I called they said they will only take children up to 5 for Molina Apple Health. Not very inclusive. My 8, 13 and 14 year olds are still kids!!! Let me guess, they get paid less for kids over 5? Seems like they could care less about the kids, and are only in it for the money and greed.

I've been going to this practice for my two younger ones for the past three years. They have never let us down. Extremely organized, courteous, kind and overall professional. They know what they're doing and they go beyond expectation to make my kids feel comfortable. No wonder they are the highest rated dental office in the area.

We took my daughter in today for her very second dentist visit since she was born, I found this place on maps and I went with it because of the amazing reviews. This place is awesome, the Dr and his staff, the location, the building is so clean and cozy. I loved everything about this mornings visit, I definitely recommend this place to all parents out there!

Hello Kids is one of the few pediatric dental practices that accepts my insurance. I'm so glad they do because everyone is very friendly and flexible. It's clear that they specialize in pediatrics because they know how to treat kids (and their parents) in a way that makes everyone comfortable. Just a great place!

We had cancelled our regular cleanings over the summer so we were overdue, but not looking forward to seeing the dentist during the pandemic. There was no reason to be concerned though because the trip was easy and felt very safe. We checked in over the phone. Waiting room was spaced out and all shared items were gone. We were taken back quickly and had x-rays, cleaning, and exams for 2 kids in under an hour. Staff was very vigilant about cleaning. Dr Annikka was super kind and put the children at ease right away. We need to return for treatment in the new year, but now we know it will be and easy and safe visit.
