My wife Erin and I have been blessed with four great kidsMcKay, Natalie, David and Samuel. We initially moved to St. Louis for my orthodontic training, but realized wed found our home in the Midwest. I enjoy spending time with my family, participating in church activities, playing basketball, and reading. I also enjoy running and cycling, and try to complete several triathlons each year.

Dr. Alex lives with his wifeAlisonin the Lake Saint Louis area with theirthree beautiful daughters, Alyssa,Evelyn, and Elaina. When he's not in the office, he's either spending time with the girls, biking, or playing board games. He loves cookies, music, and chalupas. (Seriously, he has a chalupa almost every day!) He also serves as the currentmusical director of theRising Generation Youth Chorus.

I was born and raised in a small town in central Kentucky and obtained my undergraduate and dental degree from the University of Kentucky, GO CATS! Almost three years ago I moved to St. Louis to begin my orthodontic training at St. Louis University, and I fell in love with the Midwest. I have truly enjoyed these last few years in St. Louis exploring all of the different offerings the city has. I feel so lucky and proud to call St. Louis my new home. I am a firm believer in treating my patients like family. I truly look forward to meeting you and making your orthodontic experience a success by delivering exceptional patient care all while having fun!
In my free time I love to hike, ski, cook, and spend time with my lovely significant other, Phillip and our dog, George. Together we enjoy being outdoors, traveling and exploring new cities and National Parks, and trying new and delicious foods. While I enjoy watching the Cards and Blues, I am an avid University of Kentucky Basketball fan and Netflix enthusiast.
Dr. Jacob grew up in southern Illinois and afterfinishing his orthodontic residency at Texas A&M College of Dentistry, he is thrilled to be back in the area as a member of the Bankhead Orthodontics team. He loves coming to work every day and has already experienced the rewards of making a difference in patients lives. Dr. Jacob learned the newest advancements in treatment techniques during his residency, including 3D printing, digital scanning and Invisalign.
When not working, I truly enjoy traveling and have been an avid scuba diver for over a decade. As a lifetime St. Louis Cardinals and Blues fan, there are few things better than attending a home or away game or taking in a great concert.

Very friendly, very flexible, and knowledgeable. Great with my son who was less than thrilled to be there. Office is set up beautiful and clean, all questions asked (no matter how many) were answered with a smile and explained in detail for my son to understand as well.

We moved to IL over the summer. We have always been with Bankhead but this was our first visit in our new office. The staff was amazing and friendly. I know we will love it here.

The entire staff is amazing and Dr. Courtney was great and very informative! All questions were answered and my son and I felt very welcomed! We went today and they sang for my sons upcoming birthday he left saying he had a blast! We highly recommend they were all so nice and very good at what they do!

My son had an amazing first visit. The staff are wonderful and super friendly. The doctor came in and explained everything that his treatment plan will include and made my son feel comfortable about getting ready for braces because he was nervous. When we left we left knowing what the treatment plan would look like, an estimated time frame, and the cost of what treatment would look like. My son is extremely excited about the reward system they have in place. I will be recommending Bankhead Orthodontics to all my friends and family!

I am very happy with Heintz n Bankhead... everyone in the office seem like the nicest people ever... my kids were both very nervous and the two ladies in the front totally made them more at ease. I am extremely impressed
