Dr. Ashton Hecox graduated in 2012 from the University of Nebraska Medical Center-College of Dentistry. Immediately after graduation, Dr. Hecox returned to the family practice and makes up the fourth generation dentist in the Hecox family. He has thoroughly enjoyedbeing back in the local area and getting to work along side his father, Dr. Mike Hecox.Dr. Hecox enjoys practicing dentistry and building life-long relationships with his patients.Heis excited to bring new technology and techniques to the area. Dr. Hecox and his wife, Sara, currently live in Gothenburg in which they are active in the community. In their spare time they enjoy many outdoor activities such as kiteboarding and mountain biking. You will probably see them around town walking their golden retriever, Maverik.

Dr. Mike has been practicing since 1983 when he came back to Cozad to practice with his father, Dr. Fred W. Hecox. Drs. Fred and Mike practiced together for 15 years before Fred retired in 1990. Dr. Mike has enjoyed his career as a dentist and his favorite thing in the world is seeing new smiling faces. When not in the office Dr. Mike enjoys hunting, fishing and hanging out with his dog, Boz, who is a chocolate lab. Dr. Mike and his wife Dawn have three boys: Dr. Ashton Hecox, Tarron Hecox, and Cullon Hecox. They all truly enjoy when they get to spend time as a family.
Katrina is a talented and compassionate dental hygienist with over ten years of experience. Katrina graduated from Cental Community College with her Registered Dental Hygienist degree in 2008. Rachel is our newest dental hygienist. She graduated from Colby Community College in May 2018 with an associates degree in dental hygiene. Before becoming a hygienist she was a dental assistant for three years. When she isn't working she loves spending time with family and friends. She loves camping, hunting, fishing, and using her creativity to design and build things. She is very excited to build long lasting relationships with the patients at Hecox Dentistry!
