Our dental chairs are equipped with Ergosmooth technology, the first massaging system integrated into dental chairs. The calming massaging motion creates an amazing experience that is soothing and reduces anxiety.
Our practice is unique. We provide the most modern, proven technology for our patients, ranging from a 95% decrease in x-ray radiation to completely sterile water used in all procedures. Our VistaClear water filtration system provides just that. We believe in prevention and education to eliminate problems before they exist. Treatments performed are based on proven techniques that are aimed at minimizing treatment.
Our practice believes in non-invasive techniques whenever possible. Dental implants are a technique used to replace missing teeth without grinding adjacent teeth. Caries detection is aided with the use of laser technology, Diagnodent, rather than a metal instrument.
Dr. Alison Nicholes, a native of Eastern Connecticut, attended dental school at the University of Connecticut. After graduating and earning her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree, she went on to do a General Practice Residency at the Northport Veteran's Hospital in Long Island. After completing her training there, she returned home to Connecticut and has been in private practice ever since.
Dr. Nicholes currently lives in Columbia with her husband Glen, their two children and pup Clarabelle. When she has free time, she enjoys spending it with her family, traveling, practicing pilates, and trying new restaurants.

I've just switched to Hebron Center Dentistry after my company switched my insurance for the third year in a row. I was very concerned about the state of my teeth and what I would have to go through to get back to the state of healthy teeth. Everyone at Hebron Center Dentistry has been so INCREDIBLE so far. So helpful, really great at what they do. My previous dentist was related to me and even if my next insurance switch would allow me to see him again I'm going to be sticking with Hebron. Can't recommend them enough :)

They are very caring, they make your time there as easy as possible, no one wants to go to the dentist, but, if you need help, this is the best place to go.

Mimosa was my dental hygienist. She was very thorough and I felt relaxed for the very first time having a cleaning. And she was quiet and did not try to engage in too much conversation when treating me. I would highly recommend Mimosa at Hebron Center Dentistry. Thank you!

Called to make an appointment for my fiance and got in the same day. Dr. Burnett and all the other staff were so wonderful. Seems like a very organized and well run practice who cares a lot for their patients. Would recommended this place endlessly.

The staff were very professional and I feel that I am being taken care of. I did learn today that the practice will be out of network for Cigna. I am not sure how that will affect my insurance coverage. I will check around to see if I can find a dentist that is in network for Cigna and also determine additional cost for out of network providers. I do not want to leave this dentist.

5 stars, all around! From the front end staff, to the hygienists, to the dentists (particularly Dr. Nicholes), Hebron Family Dentistry is top notch. Professional, accommodating and all that I'd hope to have in a dental experience. My family of four has had varying dental needs in the past 6 months or so (emergency filling, routine cleaning, invisilgn, etc) and we could not be happier. Highly recommend to folks of all ages!

Dr. Nicholes and her wonderful staff create the perfect atmosphere to put you at ease for your dental procedures. I have had multiple procedures & invisalign here. Dr. Nicholes and her team not only provide the highest quality dental care, but they are also extremely kind and compassionate. At a time when I needed a lot of dental work, Dr. Nicholes showed me compassion and dedication. She was so gentle that I didn't even feel the needle when I required numbing. She checked on how I was doing frequently and truly showed care for my comfort. Upon completion I had a few fixed fillings, all of which felt like they had always been there (no need for daily eating to fine tune the shape and height). Her staff were also amazing, kind and funny. I felt completely at ease from start to finish, which you don't always get. I would highly recommend this office.

SO happy I found them. I had previously gone to a new dentist who told me I needed tons of work done. I went here for a second opinion and never left! (I didn't need all that work done, btw). It's beautiful inside and all the staff is just lovely.
