I love the feeling of helping patients through my work. If it's by fixing a chipped tooth in an adult, or providing dentures for my older patients, or just teaching a child how to brush their teethit is a rewarding feeling.
Technology in dentistry is evolving at a fast pace, and dental materials with newer, better longevity are constantly changing. I attend continuing education courses through my affiliations with the ADA and CDA to learn about the latest developments in dentistry, enabling me to provide better treatment for my patients.
I believe the unique quality of the HKD team is that all of them, like me, enjoy coming to work in this office. From the front staff to the clinical team, we love getting to know all the patients who come in and the patients get to know us, too! Its the relationships that we develop with our patients that make our office unique. They are part of us, and they know we care about them and that our work is done in their best interest.
With a focus on preventive dentistry, Dr. Betty Johnson works with patients of all ages to reduce the occurrence of oral disease and ensure healthy, happy smiles. Dr. Johnson looks forward to working with you and your family to prevent and treat any oral health issues you may have with compassion, respect, and personalized attention.
In addition to her work at Heavenly Kids Dental, Dr. Johnson is a voluntary Adjunct Clinical Professor at USC, an affiliation of Wesley Comprehensive Health Center. She is a member of the American Dental Association and the California Dental Association.

We had the worst experience ever here I had my nephew crying for a few hours tied down and the staff is horrible and it was clear after a few visits that all they care is charging the insurance for services while not attending to the children we would not recommend this place at all

I have been here twice. The 1st experience I had to wait 2hrs AFTER my son's appointment time to be seen. They put the laughing gas on my son which they did not tell me or let me know, until they had him strapped in the chair ready to go. Before the guy opened the nozzle I asked what he was doing. He THEN informed me and said the front receptionist should have told me. Then had me sign a waiver. I asked if i could stay in the room and the dentist told me no. She doesn't like other people in the room, which i said fine I will be waiting right outside the door and looking through the window. When I went to pay my copay which is only $20, the receptionist told me I have to pay $80, for the service. Which was not including a new patient fee. So I would have to pay $105. I said no my copay is only $20 and I called my insurance. The insurance said it is only the $20 and for the dentist to call them. So I'm guessing they tried to pocket more money. The 2nd time I went, they took my son right in, then scheduled for "treatment". The day I went in for my sons treatment, (which would be the 3rd time)the moment I got there, the receptionist told me they had to reschedule because the dentist was having issues with a patient, refused to see other patients, and locked herself in the back until the problematic patient left. I did not get a notification, call, text, email, etc before this happening. When I arrived other patients in the waiting room said they have been waiting for 3-4 hours on the dentist. Very unprofessional place. The only reason my son loves it here, is they have t.v's in every room for the children. But im sure there is other places that have t.v's in the rooms. 3rd/4th visit, So I have came back and there has been a power outage which quickly came back on. They do not take covid seriously. There is barely any cleaning between patients, and they over book. So the waiting room, and "xray" room is crowded.

Horrible experience here they numbed my sons mouth and then left him waiting for an hour while they worked On another patient. Very unprofessional. I'm beyond unsatisfied. Worst experience of my life I hope they close this place down ASAP.

I am by far a very difficult patient to work with. I get extremely nervous and scared at the dentist office but when you have an informative painless, patience, nice and kind, caring, listening dentist like Dr. Die, you leave feeling very well taken care of and looking good. Super clean waiting room. Comfy chairs to sit in. Kids area to kill time while you wait. To top it off a female dentist I high five that. This is my first visit everyone is friendly and informative of the work that needs to be done. Today was my litke one visiit i made my visit for next week.

Only reason I gave it a 4 out of 5 stars is because I called in to see if it was ok to go in earlier than my appointment which was at 3 they said yes so I showed up at 2:30 and was not seen until 3:30... Waste of my time... But the staff is super friendly and the dentist was AWESOME!! She walked my son and me through what she was doing... Highly recommend!!

Only reason I gave it a 4 out of 5 stars is because I called in to see if it was ok to go in earlier than my appointment which was at 3 they said yes so I showed up at 2:30 and was not seen until 3:30...
