I am a new patient and am extremely pleased with the service, professionalism and care I have received. Anita is my hygienist and is excellent in her her care, work and treatment. Brenda handles scheduling and billing and despite how busy the office is, she stays on top of it and manages the appointments and calls if anything opens up. I recommend Heavenly Hands!

I would have been a new patient. I scheduled an appointment in January and had to wait until March. The day before my appointment they called and canceled my appointment and told me a sob story. Whoever said I can reschedule when I'm ready. I didn't have the time until now and I called and they tell me another sob story of why I can't be seen until August. If you are looking for a dentist this is not the one find another I wouldn't want the same thing to happen to anyone else.

The name of the business speaks for itself. Wonderful practice, professional, on time, and has flexible hours to accommodate your needs. Dental fear is real speak to your hygienist and dentist if you have such anxiety because they definitely soothed my fear. Don't let your dental benefits go to waste .

Without question this place is perfect. The staff from the dental assistant to the hygienist to the doctor. Everyone was so welcoming and warming. This was my first time here and I'm thoroughly impressed. I can't remember the dental assistance name but she was so personable and sweet. Then Ms. Carroll the hygienist was so calm and through while making sure that I was comfortable. The doctor I went to see is on maternity leave so Dr. Brown came in and was so sweet. Love this place.

I only have good things to report but I want to start by saying that I have been receiving services with my prior dentist most of my life. And must add since primary school and I'm in my thirties now. I recommended a friend to my prior dentist and she was applaud of the lack of treatment she received in her 15 minutes appointment slot. I was unaware of the proper timeframe and specifics during a regular dental appointment because that's all I have experienced. So I decided to conducted a research and it lead me to Heavenly Hands Family Dentistry. The name truly fits the description of their practice. I called and scheduled an appointment with no issues. Even though the timeframe was less than two months away I was pleasantly surprise that they were able to accommodate me as a new patient with all the Covid restrictions. When I arrived to my appointment I was elated by the cleanliness and proper PPE procedures they have put in place to ensure the safety of their clients and themselves. This brings to the actual service... I have one name/word to mention, AMANDA!!! She was truly amazing, very knowledgeable, and her attention to detail is what reeled me in. I had some uncomfortable moments but this was due to years of build up and prior neglect from my previous dentist. We had plenty of moments during the cleaning when she thought I might have been in some pain but I was laughing at my previous dentist for years of misleading service. The key to learning is experiencing different things and this was truly a experience where I learned from Amanda and Dr. Epps of the proper way to sustain good dental hygiene.. I hope this review makes you'll famous.

I absolutely LOVED this dentist, but the billing clerk is the reason I stopped going there. I did not have insurance, I had a dental plan (that the office was a member of) that gave me discounts on procedures. Crowns at that time were listed on the Aetna Dental Plan (discount plan) at just under $1000. My discount would be 50% making it around $450. On 6/6/2019 I went and received my temporary crown and paid the $420 she said was the total owed. I kept having pain and finally my gums swelled and it became unbearable. I was told my permanent crown had came in so to come in and they would just put that on. While there, the assistants kept putting the new one on to take x-rays. It kept falling off and every time they put it back on it cause excruciating pain. FINALLY they were able to get it to stay on and the crown was glued in place. It was a very unpleasant, painful appointment, but when I came out to the front desk, the woman made it even worse by asked me for $424. I told her I had already paid, but she told me I paid half. I told her I had the Aetna Dental Plan and I was only supposed to be charged half. She told me that I was and that they only had me pay half of my half the first time and that she had explained that in great detail to me over the phone. I told her she had not as I'm hearing impaired and do not discuss financial things over the phone for that reason. She became angry and insisted that she did and I just must not have heard her. She was very angry and rude at that point. I said so this one crown is over $1600? She said that was correct. I told her that if she had ever told me it was $1600 + and that my part would be $800 +, Id have had the tooth pulled as that was not in my ability to pay. Also the plan they were part of said that the crown should be around $900 and no one had told me differently. She still insisted angrily that she went over the entire thing in great detail with me and that I just didn't hear her. I left and never received a bill, so I figured they realized their error, but I stopped going because of how rudely I had been treated by that receptionist. I did not feel comfortable ever seeing her again. Now I just received a bill for $424. I paid good money to be a part of that Dental Plan and seems it was totally disregarded. I now have excellent insurance, but I won't ever go back because I feel the billing clerk, or what ever she is, is trying to take money that is not owed. NO dental office at that time was charging $1600 for just a crown. I checked it all out in 2019 and since I was not billed, I have since gotten rid of all my documents. If pushed I will work to get them all again and retain a lawyer. I'd avoid this dentist if possible. Which is sad as the dentist herself is a wonderful person and VERY good. But her help leaves MUCH to be desired.

Went today for my first time and i must say the reviews was correct. A very friendly laid back office and great Dentist. I usually have very bad anxiety going to the Dentist, however it was no where near as bad as it usually it is I felt very comfortable. Would definately recommend. Not going anywhere else.

Stress free, Gentle, professional, clean calming atmosphere. I looked for a Black owned business to be supportive of my race and found one with welcoming diversity. Although it's a far drive I 100% reccomend this dentist practice.

Absolutely love this place! The best dental experience I've had here in the Richmond 804 area. The level of proprofessionalism is incredible at her practice. All her assistants are friendly, courteous,and professional as well. It's a very clean and well organize facility. I Love it!
