Dr. David M. DeCillis is a 1983 graduate of the University of Maryland. As a Dental School senior he completed an externship in dentistry for the handicapped. He has practiced in dentistry since graduation from Dental School. He is a Master in the Academy of General Dentistry indicating his extensive commitment to a broad variety of continuing education. He has completed more than 2000 hours of courses to achieve the honor of Mastership in the Academy, their highest award. Dr. DeCillis also holds a Doctor of Pharmacy Degree which he completed prior to Dental School. He is past President of many Dental groups and other organizations. He sponsors many local recreation teams and was a Best Buddy for the local school. He has also been involved in the Lion's Club, Rotary and the Lancaster Children's Home. He is married to the former Janet Sims of Camden, and they have five children.
Dr. David DeCillis received his MAGD, this stands for Master of the Academy of General Dentistry. Earning Membership takes dedication to dental continuing education beyond graduation. Less than 2% of general dentists in the U.S. and Canada are AGD Masters. When you see a dentist with MAGD after their name, you can rest assured that they care about knowing the latest techniques and best practices in dentistry. AGD Masters practice these techniques in a classroom setting multiple times a year- not every dentist does this.
To become and AGD Master, a dentist must: 1. Complete over 1,100 credit hours of continuing education. 2. Earn 400 of those 1,100 credit hours in hands on courses. 3. Pass an exam equal in difficulty to board certification exams.

I recently had a dental implant by Dr. Decillis and I could not be happier with how smooth and easy my appointment went. I have had several restorations done previously by both Dr.Decillis and Dr.Phillips that were exceptional. I assumed having a dental implant would be more extensive but I can honestly say that was the easiest and quickest thing I've had done in a dental office. I also expected to have some soreness but I didn't! I've had no pain during or after my dental implant procedure! I couldn't be happier with my first dental implant by Dr. Decillis!

My first visit. X-rays were done and Melanie was the technical who I interacted with. She was very very thorough. Explaining several options for me and answering any questions I had. As I am self pay I was given quotes for several different procedures. I was given choices and the costs and was not pressured.

Very pleasant experience for my first visit as a new patient. Streamlined and thorough check in for entering medical and dental history. All procedures needed along with expected cost and payment options explained and presented very professionally. Extremely pleased with Dr Phillips and his staff.
