After a few years as a general dentist, he got accepted to one of the most remarkablepediatric residencies in the country at Texas A&M University, Baylor College ofDentistry in Dallas Texas. During his training, he had rotations at Baylor College ofDentistry, Childrens Medical Center of Dallas, and the Texas Scottish Rite Hospitalfor Children. In these rotations he had specialized training in the ability to treat allchildren, especially those with special needs.
After the completion of residency, the US Army moved Dr. Kris to Camp Humphreysin South Korea. His daughter, Madison was born in a Korean hospital and her birthcertificate is in Hangul to prove it! After a year of treating the children of thesoldiers that were stationed on the peninsula, the Army moved his family to FortHood in Killeen, TX . During his time there he held the position of AssistantProfessor of Pediatric Dentistry at the US Army Postgraduate Dental School in theUniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USU).
During his military career he always knew he would move back to the DFW area andthe Rockwall/Heath area was always his desired destination. After all there is ahuge lake and he is from Minnesota! All Minnesotans love Texas so much that evenour hockey team moved down here!
During his transition out of the Army and starting Heath Pediatric Dentistry, he andhis wife welcomed a new baby boy, Ethan into their lives. The only thing left out ofthis bio is Dr Kris 100-pound Alaskan Malamute, Wolfgang!

I had the pleasure to work with Dr. Sivanich while he was in residency at Children's hospital . I have had the opportunity to witness time and time again the one on one care he provided for the kiddos. He makes them feel safe and fearless every time. His flawless restorative work, and his dedication to the kids makes him one of the absolute best. Now, I get to take my kids to see him and have them be excited about visiting the dentist.

THE best dentist and assistant I could ask for my children. Claudia is so patient and good at her job and Dr. Kris is extremely knowledgeable and caring. My kids ask me all the time when they can go back to get their teeth cleaned!

Heath pediatric staff and dentist where amazing. Welcomed us in, made myself and my boys feel comfortable. Walked my kids through every process so they knew what to expect. The games and prizes at the end made their day. If your looking for a great pediatric dentist this is the place the go!

The entire staff is amazing. Dr. Kris has a gift with kids. My son talks about going to see him, even though he hates getting his teeth cleaned. Would recommend for all kids.

Amazing experience! Was nervous taking all 3 of my kids at same time (one was a first-timer and another one had been to a dentist once before, but it did not go well). But they were amazing and took the time to make us all feel comfortable and the dentist even came out and chatted with us before to get to know us/him, but also to give kids extra time to play/get used to place and not just rush them back in to new environment. They have plenty of things for the other kids to play while the other ones are getting teeth done, so other kids don't just have to sit and watch. Also loved how Dr. Sivanich was so involved throughout entire visit and was very much a team work approach. His assistant was GREAT and explained everything in such a calming and age appropriate way. Dentist is also very honest and doesn't try and make you get things fixed that don't need to be... he's about what is best for the child :) Great experience with no tears she's at all!! Highly recommend!!

Dr Kris, Hayedn, and the dental assistant are so amazing!!! We came here for a 2nd opinion and couldn't be happier! My 3 y.o. son needed a lot of work and they gave me an honest, trustworthy, and reasonable treatment plan. Dr Kris is always available and willing to answer any question and explain why he thinks what he thinks for treatment. The office is so nice and clean, Hayedn is so sweet and knowledgeable. We love coming here and couldn't recommend them enough or say enough good stuff about them! Thank you!!!

Best dental experience ever. My 7 year old granddaughter was checked, xrayd, and had all her work done in same visit. She was always comfortable and they were great with her. All the features of a high end office with a small town approach to care and attention.
