As a passionate dentist and a proud Long Beach local, Im honored to practice dentistry in the city Ive called home for my entire life. Its a wonderful, ever-evolving profession that allows me to care for people from all different backgrounds. I truly enjoy getting to meet the incredible families who walk through my doors and enhancing their overall health and confidence.After attending Long Beach Poly High School, I went on to receive my Bachelor's degree in biology from the University of California, Irvine. Dental school brought me to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where I earned my Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the Marquette University School of Dentistry one of the most respected dental schools in the country. Flash forward, and I couldnt be happier to be back home in the beautiful city of Long Beach as the owner of Heartwell Dental.When Im not at work, you can find me spending time with my lovely wife, Elizabeth, being involved at our church, and hanging out with our friends and family on the weekends. You might also see us taking a stroll along 2nd Street and paddle boarding around Naples Island. I also love my sports lets go Lakers!

I became a patient during the pandemic. The office is very clean and welcoming. The quality of my care have been consistent.Great communication with scheduling (no overbooking or impossible appointments) I haven't had the best experience with dental care. Dr. Girgis is the exception, highly recommended. The cost of dental care can be overwhelmingly expensive. I find it very impressive that he offers an in house membership plan that makes dental services accessible for persons (including children) without dental insurance.

Hartwell dental is amazing. In the past I feared going to the dentist but at Heartwell they make me at ease. The hygienist and dentist explain everything.

Receptionist was nice , friendly, and welcoming. The Dental assistant was professional and knowledgeable. The Dr. Dentist was good. He was very clear on his explanations for potential procedures that should be done. He had pictures of my actual teeth on a TV monitor as he explained what needed to be done for correction. He was clear. He was nice. I felt comfortable at my first consultation. Looking forward to a great outcome !!!

I must say this dental clinic is a hidden Gem. The staff are all friendly and most specially Dr Girgis is such a wonderful man. Thank you for making this experience smooth sailing. Came in with a couple of concerns in regards of my teeth. I've been on a look out for dentist I can trust since I move here. I luckily stumble upon this place. Recommend this office to my friends and family for sure. Keep sending people home happy with bright clean smile.

Heartwell Dental is the best! Everyone is super nice & Dr. Girgis is very kind. I was really nervous about getting a cavity filled, but the hygienists & Dr. Girgis helped me feel much more calm by taking a minute to discuss the procedure with me. Highly recommend this dentist for the high level of care & kindness!

I got referred here by my dentist office that closed and have to say I'm extremely dissatisfied with Dr. Abraam Girgis and his staff. I feel like it's walking into a used car dealership with their tactics. First time I was told they would let me know if there are any charges up front before I arrive and I never heard back from them only to be told the charges of a few hundred dollars when I was in the chair getting worked on. I gave them a second chance, only to be told I would need a few thousand dollars worth of work (that was not needed and not covered by insurance). I got a second opinion and am now with another dentist. EDIT: the dentist is acting like he doesn't know me, so not only is he a scammer, he is also a liar.

I trust Heartwell Dental one hundred percent. I have researched other local dental offices and have found that this dental office and staff are honest, professional and have my loyalty. I will be referring my Dad to this office. Well done Heartwell Dental

Dr. G and his staff are so welcoming, kind and gentle. I am scared and skeptical of dentists and this was a visit that reversed all that. He gave me multiple treatment options and let me choose what was best for me. I really appreciated his approach. The procedures were gentle and no pain. He always checked in to see if I was ok during the visit too. I did some aesthetic procedure as well and was so so so happy w the results. I now am so proud of my smile! I also want to commend his staff who were efficient and welcoming. Overal a 5 star visit and I have officially found my dentist in Long Beach!
