After an advanced residency in general dentistry in San Francisco, she realized her passion for straightening teeth and longed to be on the East Coast again. She then moved to Boston where she attended Boston University for her Orthodontic residency. At Boston University, she received her Certificate in Advanced Graduate Studies (C.A.G.S) in orthodontics and maxillofacial orthopedics, as well as a Master of Science in Dentistry after three years of specialized graduate training. Upon graduation, she came full-circle as she was invited by the chair of the department to become a part-time clinical instructor for the orthodontic residents from the very same program she graduated from!
Dr. Li enjoys the challenges and rewards of working with each unique patient. It is her goal to provide long lasting, stunning smiles, and an experience second to none. In addition to conventional metal braces, she is trained in the latest aesthetic options for orthodontics including Invisalign, lingual braces (Incognito), ceramic (tooth-colored) braces and orthodontic mini-implants. She also works closely with esteemed oral and maxillofacial surgeons for different options of surgical orthodontic treatments.
Outside of her career in teeth-straightening and smile-making, Dr. Li loves to spend time with her husband David, their family and close friends. A huge foodie, she loves to try out delicious dishes other people make and cooking or baking herself. She will always welcome suggestions about where to find great foods and new recipes to try. You can find Dr. Li and her husband around town pretending to be tourists, watching plays, listening to concerts and sometimes just playing videogames on the couch. Her one big regret in life is that she wasnt better at sports, but she just recently learned to ski so there might be hope for her after all!

I've had a great experience so far with Dr. Li. She's very sweet and very informative. She takes a lot of care in explaining how to use the inserts I have and checks that I understand everything. I have also felt very safe in her office during Covid. BJ is lovely too and has been super helpful during this whole process.

Dr. Li and team is fantastic! I am 49 and was very nervous about going back into braces for the second time. She made me feel comfortable about it and suggested doing clear brackets which I love! I have had them for a year and already see a difference in my smile. My daughter has braces with her too and we both love how gentle she is. I can't imagine doing this with anyone else!

I highly recommend Dr. Li and Heart Orthodontics. Dr. Li goes above and beyond to ensure quality care and tailor your orthodontic treatment to your particular needs and situation. She helped me adapt my aligner program to some specific health challenges I faced. She is an excellent communicator and is willing to explain the logic behind particular approaches to treatment. Halfway through my treatment, it is clear that she has "saved" a tooth that other providers thought might have to be removed and I couldn't be happier.

Dr. Li is very kind, warm- hearted, skilled, patient orthodontics. The very first time I met her I am impressive with her big smile and explain the treatment process very clearly and patiently. I chose her as my orthodontist 6 years ago. I have beautiful teeth since then. Now my two kids needs the treatment as well. She owns her office now, her office is very new, clean, beautiful equipped with new tech - teeth scanner and a lot other high end tech. My two kids loves Dr, Li, she is always kind, talk sweetly, and always listening and spend extra time to patiently explain everything in detail to kids. My two young kids trust her so much. The office Lady is very sweet as well. The moment you walk into the office, you always feel like you are so welcomed. Thank you Dr. Li. You are really angel to come help the kids.

Dr. Li is an extremely warm and patient person. My orthodontic treatment has taken a long time because of some personal events as well as COVID. However, she is never pushy and always explains the options I have at each step very clearly. She is always transparent about what she is doing which is something I really need. I am so glad I am doing my orthodontic treatment at Heart Orthodontics and would recommend her to my friends and family.

We LOVE Heart Orthodontics. The atmosphere is calm and inviting. I've had one child complete treatment and his teeth are perfect. Now we are on child #2 in braces, and we wouldn't think to go anywhere else. They also give military and family discounts. Definitely recommend to check them out!

My son has been a patient with Dr. Li for about 2 years now. Dr. Li is warm, kind, pays attention to detail, and always makes sure her patients do not have any jitters about their experience with braces. She has state-of-the-art services and will look to ensure that the patient is appraised about their profile and progress each time and pays great attention to patient satisfaction. I highly recommend anyone looking for an Orthodontist to pay her a visit, you will not be dissapointed.

Dr. Li has been the best doctor I've ever had. If I could give her 5 stars a billion times, I would. She was my second experience with orthodontic treatment and she does everything she can to make sure you are happy with your teeth and the process of getting perfect teeth. The office is always bright and clean. She gives goody bags/care packages and goes out of her way to make sure you are happy! My first experience with orthodontics was 4 years long with wired braces at a different Concord office that was a total waste of time and left me still insecure with my smile. Invisalign with Dr. Li was only ~2 years and gave me my dream teeth. I reevaluated my PCP and other dentists I've had because I believe all doctors should give the standard of care that she provides for her patients. I have not met any other doctor that has given the care that Dr. Li provides for her patients. I came back a few years after my invisalign treatment to get new retainers and she provided me with multiple options for replacements. She remembers patients SOO well and I'm sure if I ever have problems with my teeth again I'll visit Heart Orthodontics again.

Dr. Li is extremely knowledgeable, thorough, and a professional at what she does. All three of my children are in orthodontics and I couldn't be happier with her. Dr. Li is very dedicated and goes far above and beyond the call of duty. Her office is bright and inviting with top of the line equipment.
