For more than 30 years, individuals and families in and around College Station, Texas have relied on Heart of Texas Dentistry for all of their dental needs. Dr. William E. Privett and his dedicated staff develop a comprehensive dental treatment plan tailored to fit each patient's needs. In order to provide our patients with the best possible dental care, we've equipped our office with high quality, state-of-the-art technology. In addition, each operatory has flat screen televisions as well as free wi-fi for your enjoyment or business needs.
Dr. Privett grew up in New Boston, Texas and graduated from Texarkana High School. As an active member of the Boy Scouts, he attained the rank of Eagle Scout. Dr. Privett then attended Texas A&M University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology.
Following graduation, he continued his studies at the University of Texas Houston Dental Branch where he earned his DDS. In 1984, Dr. Privett established his practice in the BCS area. Aside from having served as a mentor at the Dental Branch in Houston, he served on the Scott & White Dental Advisory Committee from 1995 to 2003.
Dr. Privett has completed extensive continuing education in an array of courses. He is a member of the American Dental Association and the Texas Dental Association. In 1999, he was awarded the Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Privett and his wife Sharon have 4 children; Jordan, Lauren, Peyton, and Grayson.

I have been going there for awhile now, I cracked my tooth on Sunday called on Monday they got me in Wednesday (Today) and fixed up today. I couldn't ask for a better group of people ! Thank you Robin for my estimates and Dr Privett and stuff for fixing me up.

Amazing work and fantastic staff. I absolutely hate going to the dentist but Doctor Privett makes it so easy and a lot less stressful and his staff is super friendly and helpful

I've had past trauma from a different dentist, and due to that I refuse to go to them. But today when I went in because of a very bad tooth I told them about my past experience and they worked with me. The last time a got shots they felt like someone literally took scissors and stabbed my gums. But when they gave them it felt like pinches and they kept me distracted. This was the best experience at a dentist I've ever had.

This dentist and office staff are the best! Not only have they taken care of me and my smile, but they have with my family too. We smile because of them. They listen and they care. If you have a concern they look at/into it. They have some new staff and they are rock stars! Kind and compassionate. One of the newest people there still goes above and beyond like she's been there for years! That's what this place is for their patients. Thank You!

I have been going here since I was 14 and so has my entire family he is amazing and will work with you for payments if need be he is very knowledgeable and won't gouge you in the price plus the assistants are and have been amazing and they make you comfortable and feel at home best dentist experiences I have ever had

When attempting to contact the office it took 6 tries for someone to answer. Once I made an appointment and gave them all my information, I took off work and showed up just for them to tell me that they no longer will accept new patients with Aetna insurance. Lady was very rude and said she did not have time to discuss anything further with me. I would not recommend to anyone trying to find a good dentist.

I had changed to Hooks family dentistry a couple of years ago. I had a wisdom tooth that needed attention and Hooks made it sound like they didn't need my business. Called my regular dentist,Dr. Privett and they got me on, worked with my schedule, and invited me back, no questions asked. These folks are the best in town.

Great dentist experience. Went in for a cleaning and a night guard fitting as a first time patient. Got cleaned promptly, fit for a night guard without any problems, and they literally gave me a piece of homemade pecan pie as I was leaving since it was one of the assistants' birthday. Nice staff, everyone was competent and friendly. Definitely will go back. However! The address posted on google maps is wrong. The office is located on Rock Prairie, not Holleman
