Dr. Harjot Bains, DDS, graduated fromNew York University School of Dentistryand then pursued a one-year program in advanced education in general dentistry (AEGD) throughLutheran Medical Center, Brooklyn NY. To further her education, Dr. Bains completed several continuing hours at theMedical University of South Carolinafor Bone and Soft Tissue Grafting.
To refine her surgical skills, she completed her Oral Surgery training at the Toronto Implant Academy and then underwent an extensive Live surgical training program in Implant Dentistry with special emphasis on restoring severely Atrophic Maxilla and Mandible with full arch Implant reconstruction, through theCalifornia Implant Institute.
She has been practicing dentistry in the Phoenix area since 2005. I had a fear of dentists. I will never fear again after the staff and doctor at Healthy Teeth Family Dentistry took care of me. I had 24 teeth removed and they were amazing. Thankyou!!! Looking forward to having a smile.by xmas.I would recommend this dentist to friends and family.

This is the best dentist ever. Very much down to earth. If you are not going here you are making a big mistake. Trust me been to alot of dental places this is the best. Very highly recommend. .

My Aunt was seen by this office some time ago and they took really good care of her. They were very accommodating to her even though she was in a wheelchair. I am her caregiver and I take upmost pride anywhere she goes and this place is up to my standards.

Dr. Brar pulled out three of my teeth, two being my wisdom. The first wisdom tooth was no problem but the second one broke at the crown. She was able to get my tooth out in very minimal time and force. She even had the dental assistant take x-ray's every step of the way to make sure there was no tooth particles left. As far as some of the reviews, I think they are just bitter patients not wanting to pay up. Sonia is very professional, knowledgeable and upfront about everything. My experience has always been non the less of excellent.

I came in for a cleaning and check up. My experience was pleasant. The whole staff was very polite. Dr. Brar explained my treatment plan well. She even gave me a deeper cleaning. Both assistants greeted me nicely and front desk guided me through everything and was clear about my payment and insurance coverage.

I truly hate that I went to that dentist office that woman does not care about her patients she's all about money I had implants put in and I've been having problems every since and I told her that there was something wrong with him they were off they come out when I eat told her that the only thing she told me I helped you out to get these implants by cutting the cost with my insurance did she try lie on me I'm something that she did incorrect do not go to her you will feel sorry

If I could give zero stars I would it's been years since I seen this dentist however the work was horrible I was told I needed several root canals and I felt no pain nothing but I took her advice and got them done my crowns are horrible and I had a tooth that she left uncrowned to this day I have had to get teeth pulled after seeing her because of the damage she Did and she told me to come back and her assistant told me it was too late oh well my mouth had missing crowns and I needed teeth pulled now my mouth is a mess and I have to pay almost $10,000 to get it fixed as a result of her work I wish I never seen this Dr as she is horrible I hope no one else goes through what I been through with her

Please DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTIST! Total scam. If I could give her zero stars I would. My mother in law came to see her for a few implants and a top denture. My MIL continued to tell her during her visits that the dentures didn't feel right and she wanted them relined. Everytime DR. Brar would tell her she wasn't going to reline them and that she needed to give them more time to adjust. It's been over 6 months and they still don't fit right. Within a few short months of the procedure, her implants were falling out. She went back to the Dr. for her to fix and said it was my MIL's fault. The dentures DR. Brar made Are completely worthless. She billed to the insurance company for work she didn't even do and when you try to get your dental records from the front office staff, Sonia in particular, is horribly rude and tries to cover up for the dentist. We have seen several other Dentists to check her work who said she should have NEVER placed these implants to begin with! We have asked to her to fix the work she's done and she refuses. She scammed my MIL into faulty dental work! We are taking this case to the board and our attorney. Please, do not TRUST this dentist.

It has been several years since I went to this dentist, but I am still suffering as a result of the work she did on my teeth. When I went to her, I was naive and didn't realize that some dentists are dishonest scammers. Growing up, my dentist was great, and I never understood why anybody complained about the dentist at all. Though I found Dr. Brar's personality very abrasive from the get go, I blindly followed her advice and got 2 crowns put in, even though I wasn't feeling any issues with my teeth (I initially had just come in for a simple cleaning). When she did my crowns, it was very painful and rough, and it felt like she was water boarding me. Not sure what was going on with the water, but I had to keep asking her to stop so that I could take breaths. Couple days later I realized that one Crown was so high I couldn't chew my food. I went in to have her file it down. She was extremely rude about it and when she was done filing it, she said, "look what you made me do. Now it's just too short." Ever since that work was done, I have been experiencing pain on and off on those teeth. I never had any tooth pain before she worked on me. I only recently discovered from another dentist that it appears as though Dr Brar nicked my teeth during my Crown procedures. Because of that, bacteria got in between them and created a large cavity that's been slowly growing over the years. This is the 1st time I've gotten an explanation as to why I feel intense pain periodically. I am now facing over 6000 dollars worth of dental work to fix what she did. This is the 1st Google review I have ever written and I am not the type of person that publicly complains. I generally don't like to say anything negative so as not to mess with someone's livelihood. In fact, I am the person more likely to go out of my way to write positive reviews when I see good service. But I just want to make sure that nobody else goes through what I did. I really don't think she should be practicing dentistry. Stay away. I wish that I had read some reviews before I went to her.
