Digital X-rays: Digital radiography allows us to create nearly instant X-ray images that can be projected onto a digital chairside monitor. The process of capturing digital X-rays produces up to 90% less radiation than traditional radiography, and because the images are digital, they dont require time-consuming processing.
CT scans: Computed tomography, or CT scanning, utilizes multiple digital X-rays to capture a comprehensive, 3D image of your teeth, jawbone, and oral structures. In many diagnostic and treatment planning procedures, including same-day restorations, CT scanning provides an optimal level of precision and convenience.
CEREC restoration: CEREC stands for chairside economic restoration of esthetic ceramics, and is our digital CAD/CAM technology that captures highly precise digital images and measurements of your teeth. These are sent to an onsite milling machine that crafts your porcelain restoration in just a single day.
Soft-tissue laser: For procedures such as cosmetic gum contouring, which require the slight modification of your soft gingival tissues, we may recommend using an advanced soft-tissue laser instead of a traditional scalpel. Compared to traditional surgery, laser gum contouring offers significantly higher comfort, precision, and esthetic results.
From an early age, Nicholas Cain, DDS has been fascinated with dentistry, and how it can make a positive difference in our lives. Dr. Cain often talked to his uncle who practices dentistry in Tennessee. He asked him questions about the field, learned all that he could and decided that he wanted to follow in his footsteps. After earning his Bachelors degree from Tuskegee University in Tuskegee, Alabama, he went on to attend dental school at Meharry Medical College in Nashville.
Upon completion of his dental degree, Dr. Cain joined his familys practice in Tennessee, where he continued to learn from his early mentors. Recently, Dr. Cain returned to Miller to realize his ultimate goal to open his own private practice in his hometown. Born and raised in Miller, Dr. Cain is honored to be able to serve the dental needs of the community that is so special to him.

My experience far exceeded my expectations on my first visit. Everyone from the receptionist to Dr. Cain was professional, helpful, and knowledgeable. The cleanliness and relaxing setup of the office made for a comfortable experience. I definitely feel confident in the fact that I've found a dentist that I will regularly visit from now on.

Amazing experience. Cleanest dental office I've ever seen. The staff is friendly and informative. Dr. Cain is patient and does a great job. Had 3 teeth pulled and the experience was painless and quick. I was in and out in under 80 minutes. Highly recommend.

10/10!! Every single person in the office is so nice and helpful, they really put your mind at ease and make you feel 100% comfortable. My 6 year old was very nervous, and they completely set her mind at ease and she left LOVING the dentist!! They are very gentle and efficient. The office is beautiful and very clean. I recommend Dr. Cain to literally everyone I know!! :)

I was absolutely in shock when I had some extractions with Dr. Cain a couple of weeks ago. This was the most pain free, gentle, but fast dental work I've ever had. Dr. Cain and his staff are the best!!

I never thought I'd get red carpet treatment at a dentist's office but my daughter and I did here. Dr. Cain is awesome and gentle as can be. Gave me a nice face massage during my treatment. The staff is very kind (Raquel is everything a front office person should be!). The office is ultra sparkling clean. We are very glad we found Healthy Smiles!
